How to apply a Ubisoft discount code

Using a Ubisoft promo code takes only a few steps. First, choose an offer on Discoup, review its conditions, and copy the code. Then visit the Ubisoft Store, select your game or eligible content, and add it to your cart.

Open your cart and look for the "Add a promo code or creator code" option in the order summary. Paste your code into the field and click "Apply." Before completing payment, confirm that the discount appears in your updated total.

For example, if you're purchasing a game and the promotion applies only to selected editions, choosing a different edition may prevent the code from working. Checking eligibility beforehand can save you an unnecessary trip back to the product page.

Remember that a Ubisoft Store promo code reduces the price of qualifying purchases. It is different from a game activation key, which unlocks access to purchased content.

Where to find more Ubisoft Discounts and Special Offers

The official Ubisoft Store regularly features discounted games and additional content in its Deals section. These promotions may include older releases, selected premium editions, DLC, and season passes, depending on the current campaign.

You can also follow Ubisoft's official announcements and subscribe to promotional communications to learn about upcoming sales or account-specific offers. However, signing up for emails does not automatically entitle you to an exclusive coupon.

When comparing offers, focus on the final purchase price rather than the advertised percentage. A game already reduced by 60% may cost less than one available with a separate 20% discount code.

If you have a Ubisoft account, checking your available rewards is also worthwhile. Ubisoft Connect Units can provide an additional discount on eligible purchases, sometimes even when a product is already on sale.

How to save on Ubisoft without a promotional code

You don't always need a Ubisoft promo code to pay less for a game. The Ubisoft Store offers automatic discounts during promotional campaigns, so qualifying products can already have reduced prices when you add them to your cart.

Another useful strategy is comparing editions before purchasing. A Standard Edition contains the base game, while Deluxe, Gold, or Ultimate editions may include additional content. The exact extras depend on the title.

For example, if you want a game and its expansion, compare the combined cost of buying them separately with the price of an edition that includes both. A discounted bundle may offer better value, but only if you intend to use the additional content.

You can also check whether a game appears in a Ubisoft+ subscription catalog before purchasing it. If you only plan to play it for a short period, temporary subscription access may cost less than buying it outright.

Ubisoft Connect Rewards: how to get discounts with units

Ubisoft Connect offers a rewards system that lets you earn Units through eligible gaming activities and purchases. When shopping directly through the Ubisoft Store, you can earn 1 Unit for every $1 spent on qualifying purchases.

One of the most useful benefits is the ability to exchange 100 Units for a 20% discount coupon. You can apply this coupon to eligible games, DLC, pre-orders, and new releases.

Unlike some regular promotional codes, the Units discount can also be combined with existing Ubisoft Store price reductions unless a specific offer states otherwise.

There are important exclusions. The 20% Units coupon cannot be used for subscriptions, in-game purchases, or products that include virtual currency.

Once claimed, the coupon remains valid for 12 months and is linked to your Ubisoft account. Units generally expire 24 months after you earn them, so checking your balance and expiration dates helps you use rewards before they disappear.

You can retrieve an unused Units coupon from your Ubisoft account and apply it in your cart or during checkout.

Ubisoft+ Discounts and Subscription savings

If you play several Ubisoft games throughout the year, Ubisoft+ can provide an alternative to purchasing each title separately. The service offers different subscription plans, with varying game catalogs and purchasing benefits.

Ubisoft+ Classics provides access to a selection of PC games and includes a 20% discount when purchasing eligible titles included in your subscription.

Ubisoft+ Premium offers access to a larger catalog, including new releases from day one and certain premium editions. Subscribers can also receive 20% off eligible games and DLC, plus 10% off qualifying virtual currency purchases.

These membership benefits are different from a regular Ubisoft Plus promo code. A discount intended for an individual game does not necessarily apply to subscription fees.

The Ubisoft+ subscription plans include monthly and annual billing options. Annual plans currently advertise savings compared with paying monthly for 12 consecutive months.

Before subscribing, compare the total subscription cost with the prices of the games you actually want. If you expect to keep playing the same title for many months, buying it during a sale may be more economical.

When are the best Ubisoft Sales and Promotions

Ubisoft runs promotional campaigns throughout the year, including seasonal sales and special events. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are particularly relevant periods to check when planning larger game purchases.

Summer sales, holiday promotions, and other limited-time campaigns may also reduce prices across selected titles and editions. Some events include additional promotional codes, while others apply discounts automatically.

The size of a discount can change significantly between sales, and the same game may not participate in every promotion. A previous price reduction is not a guarantee that the offer will return.

If you're considering a game that has been available for some time, comparing its current price with previous promotional periods can help you decide whether to buy immediately or wait.

For a newly released title, check whether an eligible Ubisoft Units coupon is available instead of assuming that a large seasonal markdown will appear soon.

Always review the offer's expiration date, eligible products, and minimum purchase requirements before finalizing your order.

Which Ubisoft purchases are eligible for coupons

Ubisoft promo code eligibility depends on the specific promotion. Some codes work on complete PC games, while others include downloadable content, expansions, or season passes.

Certain offers may exclude pre-orders, newly released games, subscriptions, or virtual currency. Other promotions are restricted to selected titles or editions.

For example, a coupon advertised for participating Assassin's Creed games may not cover every installment or premium edition. Even products belonging to the same franchise can have different eligibility conditions.

The purchasing platform matters too. A Ubisoft Store discount code generally cannot be redeemed through Steam, PlayStation Store, Xbox, or another retailer, even when the same game is available there.

Some promotions may also have account restrictions, regional limitations, or minimum spending requirements. A qualifying purchase amount is not necessarily calculated using every item in your cart if certain products are excluded.

Check the offer's terms before adding extra products just to reach a spending threshold. If the additional item doesn't qualify, it may not help you unlock the discount.

Why is my Ubisoft coupon code not working

A Ubisoft promo code may fail because it has expired, doesn't apply to your selected products, or has restrictions that your order doesn't meet.

Start by copying the code again to eliminate typing errors, including accidental spaces. Then check its expiration date and confirm that you're using it in the correct Ubisoft Store checkout.

If you receive an eligibility error, review your cart. For example, a code intended for a complete game may not work when your order contains only DLC. Adding an eligible base game or selecting a different promotion may resolve the issue.

Minimum purchase requirements can also cause problems. If a coupon requires a $30 qualifying order and your eligible products total $25, the discount won't apply until the required amount is reached.

Ubisoft generally allows one promotional discount code per purchase, so entering a second coupon won't provide an additional reduction. However, some codes can work on already discounted products, subject to their terms.

Account eligibility, previous use, or regional restrictions may also prevent redemption.

If the code is accepted but your total remains unchanged, review the discount details before paying. When an apparently eligible code still fails, contact Ubisoft Support with the promotion information and any error message.

Extra insights: more ways to save on Ubisoft purchases

Beyond ordinary coupons, a few additional options are worth checking before you complete an order.

Compare discounts on the same final price. If an eligible game is already reduced to $40 and a 20% Units coupon can be combined with that sale, the additional reduction would be $8, bringing the subtotal to $32 before applicable taxes. This calculation helps you compare real savings rather than simply adding advertised percentages together.

Check your Ubisoft Wallet for available rewards. Ubisoft Wallet Rewards are separate from Ubisoft Connect Units. Eligible users may unlock rewards for future purchases through qualifying activities shown in their Wallet management page. These rewards can have expiration dates and restrictions, including exclusions for pre-orders, in-game purchases, and virtual currency. Availability and compatibility with other discounts depend on the offer.

Consider how you pay. If you use Ubisoft Wallet funds, check whether your selected products support that payment method. Wallet availability and eligible purchases can vary, and adding credit does not guarantee that every product or service can be purchased with it.

Be aware of creator codes and cashback. Ubisoft Creator Codes let you support participating creators, and an eligible creator code can be used alongside a promotional discount code. However, entering a creator code may override certain affiliate or cashback tracking arrangements. If a separate reward depends on tracked purchases, review its conditions before combining offers.

For purchases you don't need immediately, comparing official sale prices, available Units rewards, and the cost of subscription access can reveal meaningful differences. The most useful discount is the one that reduces the cost of the content you actually intend to use.

FAQ

Does Ubisoft offer a military discount?

A permanent Ubisoft military discount has not been confirmed through the official store's published benefits. If you're an active-duty service member, veteran, or military family member, check current Ubisoft promotions and verified eligibility-based discount services before purchasing. Avoid assuming that a military discount applies automatically.

Can I get a Ubisoft birthday promo code?

Ubisoft does not guarantee a birthday promo code for every account. Promotional emails and account-specific offers may occasionally be available, but entering your birthday or subscribing to marketing communications does not guarantee a discount. Check the conditions of any birthday-related promotion you receive before using it.

How often does Ubisoft release new promo codes?

Ubisoft does not publish a fixed schedule for new coupon releases. Codes can appear during seasonal sales, game promotions, or special campaigns. Because expiration dates and eligibility conditions vary, checking recently listed offers is more useful than relying on a specific weekly or monthly release pattern.

Can Ubisoft promo codes be used for DLC or season passes?

Yes, some Ubisoft promo codes apply to eligible DLC, expansions, and season passes. Others cover only complete games. If you're purchasing additional content for a game you already own, check that the offer includes the specific DLC and that it is compatible with your version of the base game.

Can I use a Ubisoft promo code on a pre-order or newly released game?

Some coupons do. Ubisoft's 20% discount obtained with 100 Units can be used on eligible pre-orders and new releases. Regular promotional codes may have different restrictions, including exclusions for recently launched titles. Check the offer conditions rather than assuming that all Ubisoft coupons work alike.

Can I combine a Ubisoft promo code with a Ubisoft+ subscriber discount?

In certain cases, yes. Ubisoft allows eligible promotional codes to apply to products that already have a discounted price, including qualifying Ubisoft+ subscriber offers. This is different from combining two promotional discount codes, which generally isn't permitted. The specific promotion determines whether the extra reduction applies.

Can I use a Ubisoft creator code and a promo code in the same purchase?

Yes. Ubisoft allows one eligible creator code alongside a promotional discount code. Creator codes support participating content creators rather than providing a conventional customer discount. Ubisoft may display a one-cent adjustment for technical reasons, but that does not prevent an eligible discount code from being applied.

What happens to my Ubisoft discount if I request a refund?

Eligible digital PC games can generally be refunded within 14 days of purchase if you've played for no more than two hours. Additional restrictions apply, and many DLC or consumable purchases are not refundable. A refund does not guarantee that your previously used coupon will be restored. Check Ubisoft's refund policy before requesting one.

Can I cancel Ubisoft+ after purchasing it with a promotional offer?

Yes. If you subscribed directly through Ubisoft, you can cancel from the My Subscription page. Your access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period, and future renewals stop. Subscription payments are generally non-refundable under the applicable terms. If you subscribed through another platform, manage cancellation through that provider.

Can I use a Ubisoft promo code for The Division 2, For Honor, or Assassin's Creed games?

These titles may qualify for Ubisoft promotional discounts, but eligibility depends on the specific code, selected edition, and purchasing platform. A coupon that works for The Division 2 may not cover For Honor or every Assassin's Creed release. Check the offer conditions and confirm the reduced total before completing your order.
