The military discount is 10% off eligible purchases, in store and online, with no annual cap on how much it can save. It covers people currently serving in or veterans of the US Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Space Force, NOAA, the US Public Health Service Commissioned Corps and the National Guard, and it extends to an enrolled and verified spouse who sets up their own account. Verification runs through a MyLowe’s Rewards account and an ID.me check, after which the discount applies on its own at online checkout; in store you give the phone number on the account and show photo identification.

Read the exclusions before you plan a big project around it.
