Walmart Promo Code valid in October 2026

Walmart promo codes in October 2026: Deals & More is live, but fulfillment can change the real saving

Checked October 5, 2026. This is the current view today; the offer listings above remain the up-to-date reference for the exact code and expiration, and any date mentioned here should be confirmed again at Walmart checkout. Deals & More is now live for October 5-11, making current sale pricing worth checking before you wait for a later event.

For Walmart+ members, free next-day and two-day shipping currently has no order minimum on eligible Walmart.com items, but most Marketplace items are excluded; delivery from store still carries a $35 minimum. On a mixed cart, who sells and fulfills the item can change the total more than the headline percentage.

Verified Walmart codes and deals for October — checked October 5, 2026

• 50% off — Walmart+ membership discount, not an order coupon — qualifying government-assistance recipients — the listing shows January 14, 2027 as the expiration date.
• $10 off — promo code — orders of $100 or more — the listing shows December 31, 2026 as the expiration date.
• $10 off — pickup and delivery promo code — second or third pickup or delivery order over $35, excluding alcohol — the listing shows November 10, 2026 as the expiration date.
• 20% off — promo code — available to all customers — the listing shows November 5, 2026 as the expiration date.
• Up to 65% off — Flash Deals sale with no coupon required — marked-price Flash Deals items — the listing shows November 1, 2026 as the expiration date.
• $20 off — Walmart+ promo code — each of the first three orders over $50 on an eligible Walmart+ account — the listing shows October 27, 2026 as the expiration date.

Match the offer to the account, seller and fulfillment route you will actually use. Walmart+ status, minimum spend, order number, pickup or delivery selection and Marketplace seller status can all change the final value, while shipping or delivery charges may erase part of a larger-looking discount.

Checkout pitfall: do not select a pickup-and-delivery offer and then switch the cart to Shipping. The current fulfillment-specific deals depend on the selected order route and, for the repeat-order offer, the order number and minimum spend. Recheck the discount after any fulfillment change before placing the order.

Next savings period: Walmart has not announced its 2026 Black Friday schedule yet. Based on last year's cadence, the next likely major shopping window is a first Black Friday wave around mid-November, potentially with Walmart+ early access. Treat that timing as expected rather than confirmed and recheck once the October event ends.

Which Walmart deal makes sense for your cart right now?

Should I shop Deals & More now or wait for Black Friday?

If the item you need is already reduced, compare today's marked price with any code-eligible cart now. Walmart has not announced its 2026 Black Friday schedule, so waiting means trading a known current price for an unconfirmed future discount.

Which current offer should I check for pickup or delivery?

For a second or third pickup or delivery order over $35, check the $10 offer first. For other eligible pickup or delivery purchases, compare it with the up-to-10% listing above and use the offer listing for the exact code before checkout.

Is the up-to-65% Flash Deals offer a coupon?

No. It is a marked-price sale rather than a coupon-code discount. Compare that sale price with the final total produced by any eligible promo code instead of assuming the larger displayed percentage will automatically give you the lower checkout price.

How to apply a Walmart coupon code?

When shopping on Walmart, you can use a valid Walmart promo code online to get money off your order. First of all you must go through all the different sections to find exactly what it is you want to buy. Browse through the many available categories and then add items to your cart by clicking the 'Add to cart' button. When an item is added to your shopping bag, it will automatically open it as a full window. You can, of course, continue browsing the store at this point, or you can click on the 'View cart' button.

Clicking on it will show you the shipping options available to you, listed at the top of the page. Below this, and your order, there are other items and products listed as recommended with your order. You can add them to your cart if you wish, or ignore them. On the right, you can see the total value of your purchase. If you've not reached the minimum spend, the shipping amount will be added here as well.

For those of you not already member of Walmart+, you will see the option to join for 30 days which gives you free shipping on most orders (expect Marketplace items) no matter the expenditure. If you don't want to join, click on 'Continue to checkout' where you will need to log in to proceed. At this point, copy and paste your Walmart promotional code into the box and apply it to your order.

The Flash Dealssection collects limited-time Walmart verified discount offers and weekly discounts that can cut the price in half or even more.

You can also download the app to get Walmart coupon codes and discounts there as well. Additionally, there could be app-exclusive deals and promotions.

Just scroll through the homepage and the various categories listed within the ‘Departments’ menu to find hundreds of items at a much lower price. They get even better if you take advantage of Outlet or Clearance deals, shown throughout the year every now and then.

How to deal with delivery charges and Walmart coupon codes free shipping

Meanwhile, Walmart free delivery is a great way to cut down costs. While free standard shipping is always free for Walmart+ members, those that are not subscribed to the program need to reach a minimum spend of $35 to avoid spending a minimum order fee of $6.99.

The store also offers a Same Day Delivery option, which Walmart+ members can get for free if they spend $35 or more; under this threshold, they’ll have to pay $2.95 for the service. Alternatively, you can choose to pick up your order from a local store, availing of dedicated Curbside Pickup parking spots.

If your order doesn't automatically qualify for free delivery, you could still get a lower rate on delivery charges by applying a Walmart delivery promo code at checkout. However, as only one code can be entered on each order, this means that you won't be able to use a money off coupon on the same purchase.

Of course, Walmart also offers return options for items purchased in-store or online, on the official website. This does not apply to items bought from dealers or resellers. Most products bought online can be returned within 90 days, while items sold and shipped by Marketplace sellers can usually be returned within 30 days (some exceptions can apply).

After the return has been processed, you’ll receive a refund that can take up to 30 business days, depending on the payment method. If you chose to receive it in the form of a Walmart gift card or refund credit, you should see it within 3 hours. For credit/debit card refunds, it can take up to 10 business days and for prepaid cards and PayPal it can take up to 30 business days.

Does Walmart price match?

If you shop at a local Walmart store and see an item that is more expensive than it was on the Walmart.com website, you can ask for an in-store price match. The Walmart store manager will evaluate your request and decide whether to accept it or not.

On online orders, there is no price match policy available anymore. As the company tries to always offer the best prices on all items, they have discontinued their price adjustment policy with regards to competitor pricing.

Smart payment strategies

When there is no available code to apply at checkout, it is possible to save some more with some smart payment strategies.

For starters, with the OnePay CashRewards Card, customers will earn 3% cashback on their orders (5% for Walmart+ members).

The Walmart MoneyCard is another debit card that can be used to earn cashback and get up to $75/yr. The additional benefit of this specific card is that users can refer their friends and get $50 for each one that opens an account.

The CareCredit credit card can be used to pay for wellness, health and personal care products.

Everyday essentials & Pharmacy deals

At Walmart, it is possible to refill subscriptions starting as low as $4 for a 30-day supply ($10 for 90-day) and have it delivered to your house. Pharmacy delivery starts at $9.95 for standard customers, but Walmart+ members have it for free thanks to their status.

The website also offers a Benefit Programs Center that can help users to understand if they qualify for a benefit program such as SNAP, WIC, Medicare or Medicaid.

Another useful category of the online store is the “Food $1 & Under” page, where it is possible to find all the basic necessities of a grocery shopping at an extremely low price. Many of these items have a Rollback price.

Common problems with Walmart coupons online and how to solve them

You may run into a few issues when attempting to use a Walmart grocery promo code. The most frequent one is that your Walmart grocery coupon code isn’t available anymore because the company deactivated it or it has expired. You’ll get a warning during the checkout process, telling you that you need to search for another Walmart online discount code if you want to enjoy a special discount.

Pay attention to your mistakes too. Make sure you didn’t mistype the Walmart online promo code by reading it right after writing it down. Correct the wrong letters and numbers, remove extra spaces and give it another shot, it may be what you needed to let the Walmart promotion code make its way to your total order value.

There can be some requirements of use too.

For example, your Walmart code might not be compatible with other promotions, both vouchers and discounts already applied at checkout. Or maybe, the Walmart legit coupon code you have exclusively works on select products or categories.

Sometimes the promo codes for Walmart online order only work if you reach a minimum spend threshold or, if it is a Walmart first order promo code, only applies to new customers. Read the terms and conditions and find out what you need to do to spend less.
