Sam's Club Photos & Customization takes orders online for photo cards, calendars, photo books, and ornaments. Order early during the holidays, when delivery can take longer.

Instant Savings is the machinery behind the discounts that reach a member without a code, and the club describes it in plain terms: limited-time promotional discounts, electronically loaded to your membership card, deducted immediately at the point of sale when a designated item is bought. Enrollment is automatic, and opting out goes through the Membership Desk at your local club.

Eligibility runs through the membership rather than the basket. Sam's Club sets it at a primary or household cardholder over 18 with an active membership, and it adds that offers are shared between those two cardholders and cannot travel outside the household.^[1] Company cards and Direct Memberships are excluded from the program entirely.^[2]

Redemption happens at the moment of purchase, in club and online where the product is stocked, and pickup orders count. • The membership cardholder number is not valid.
• The membership has been reported lost or stolen, or it has been deleted or revoked.

Stock sits outside that list. Offers are assigned against what your own club carries, redemption runs first come first served, and the club says without softening it that there are no rain checks and no time extensions on Instant Savings.^[2] What the club suggests instead is another club or SamsClub.com.

A typed code follows a different logic. It answers to the terms printed on its own card, which is where the exclusions for that particular offer live, so when a code refuses an order, those terms are the first place to look.

Club and Plus: what the tier buys

The two tiers are not one product at two prices. Sam's Club sets out the split in its membership benefits article, and it is the page to read before a renewal, because the tier changes which fees an order has to pay.

It can also be cashed out at member services.

Timing is where an account can look broken without being broken. Sam's Cash becomes available within 30 business days of the transaction that earned it, and the club asks members to allow 14 days for a recent purchase to appear in the account at all. Waiting is normal; a missing balance on the same evening is not a fault.

On expiry the club is specific. Sam's Cash does not expire while the membership stays active, but a membership left inactive for more than 6 months, or terminated or revoked, can forfeit whatever is left unused. There is also a Bonus Offers program, free to join, that lets active members in good standing earn Sam's Cash on qualifying purchases with other merchants using cards they register for it.

Discoup points apply to this brand too. On the student page, Sam's Club says it has partnered with ID.me to confirm eligibility through a digital verification system, and the military page says online offers are verified via ID.me.

The student page also spells out its conditions: new members only, no active membership in the preceding 6 months, an applicant aged 18 or older, and active enrollment at an accredited, government-recognized institution in the United States or Canada, with community college, vocational and technical students included. The military offer covers active and retired personnel, veterans, civilian military employees and spouses, and joining through the verified route also puts Sam's Cash on the account at the first renewal.

Shipping, delivery and pickup fees

A code is worth nothing if a fee swallows it, and at Sam's Club the fee depends on the tier as well as the basket. Plus members get free shipping on eligible orders once they pass the published minimum and pay a flat rate below it. Club members are in a different position: free shipping reaches them only on items the site marks as such, and the club says outright that most items will carry a shipping cost.

Four limits apply to everyone regardless of tier. Free shipping is ground only, so faster methods cost extra unless the site marks them as free. It is capped at a set number of delivery addresses. Delivery from the club is a separate line from shipping, and free shipping does not cover it. Returns, refunds and prices between clubs

Carrying an online item into a club is the fast route, and the club says so: a return made in person gets an immediate refund. Sending it back runs through order history instead, with a label the club emails out, and the credit returns to whichever payment method paid for the order.

One exception is easier to absorb before an order than after it. Exchanges are not offered on online items, so a different size or color means returning the first one and placing a fresh order at whatever the price is then. The early window for Plus members widened with each Black Friday event from 2023 to 2025. In 2023 the event ran from Thanksgiving Day through that Sunday, online only on Thanksgiving and then in clubs and online as well, and Plus members got online access two hours ahead on select items. In 2024 it ran through December 2, with online-only deals on Thanksgiving and Black Friday and a three-hour Plus start. In 2025 it ran from November 27 to December 1, and the Plus window reached 12 hours, online only, opening at noon Eastern the day before all members could shop.

Cyber Monday had its own schedule in 2023, 2024 and 2025. The 2023 Cyber Savings event ran November 27 and 28, with Plus members shopping select items from 10:01 p.m. Eastern on November 26. The 2024 Cyber Savings event was online only, overlapped the final two days of the Black Friday event, and also gave Plus members a three-hour start. The 2025 Cyber Monday sale lasted one day, December 1, with Plus members shopping from noon Eastern on November 30.^[7]

Sam's Club's terms for the 2023, 2024 and 2025 Black Friday events said multiple offers would not be combined on one item, and that the most recent offer would apply first when an item carried more than one. The 2024 and 2025 events both featured $70 off a 50-inch VIZIO TV among their dollar-off deals on single items.
