Where to enter the promo code

First things first: Discoup is not a store. We provide the promo codes, coupons, and deals, and then you are redirected to the merchant's website. You apply the code in the merchant's shopping cart or at checkout, not on Discoup.

1. Open the offer and read the "Details" and "Expires on" sections.
2. Click "Get Code" to copy the coupon, or "Get Deal" if the discount is applied automatically.
3. Hit "Continue to Site" and add your items to the cart.
4. At checkout, look for a box labeled "Promo Code / Discount Code / Coupon," paste it in, and click "Apply." The discount must show up in your order summary before you pay.

On mobile, this field might be hidden in the final order summary under a collapsible menu like "Coupon / Promo Code." If you don't see it right away, be sure to check there.

Promo Code vs. Automatic Deal

A lot of people get stuck here. The bottom line is simple: not all promos require a code you have to paste. Some activate automatically through a link.

Why your coupon is being rejected

If a promo code doesn't apply, it's not always a glitch. The merchant's checkout system is simply enforcing specific rules and restrictions. The quickest way to figure it out is to read the error message to understand the issue.

1. Not stackable. If you already have an active promo or clearance items in your cart, merchants usually won't let you stack another coupon. Try it with a fresh, un-discounted cart.
2. Order minimums. The minimum threshold might apply only to the eligible subtotal, not the final total you see. Try adding a clearly eligible item to your cart and applying the code again.
3. Excluded items or account restrictions. Outlet items, "already discounted" goods, excluded brands, app-only deals, new customers only, or requiring a login: if it's in the fine print, the checkout system will block the coupon even if you pasted it perfectly.
