Trip.com Promo Code valid in October 2026

Trip.com promo codes for late September 2026: up to $70 for new users and current travel deals

Checked September 29, 2026. This is a current read of the deals available today; the deal boxes above remain the updated reference for the exact code and real expiration details, and any date mentioned here is a guide to confirm when you book. The Fall Mega Sale has ended, so the best fit now depends more on whether you are a new user, what you are booking, and how long you are staying.

For hotel bookings, look beyond the discount. Trip.com shows change and cancellation rights, including any fees, during booking, and some lower-priced rooms may be nonrefundable or nonchangeable. A smaller discount on a flexible rate can leave you better off if plans shift, so compare the final total with the room terms before paying.

Verified Trip.com travel offers for late September, last checked September 29, 2026:

• Up to $70 off — new-user welcome offer — new Trip.com users on eligible hotel and transportation deals in the Welcome Pack — the deal box lists October 26, 2026 as the expiration date.
• Up to $100 off — referral offer — users who invite a friend through Trip.com — the deal box lists January 26, 2027 as the expiration date.
• 5% off — airport transfer promo code — eligible airport transfer bookings — the deal box lists November 16, 2026 as the expiration date.
• 5% off — three-night stay promo code — eligible bookings of three-night stays — the deal box lists October 27, 2026 as the expiration date.
• $15 off — first-flight promo code — first flight booking on Trip.com — the deal box lists October 26, 2026 as the expiration date.
• Up to 20% off — hotel sale, no code required — marked hotel prices — the deal box lists October 20, 2026 as the expiration date.

The headline value only matters if your booking lands in the right flow. Trip.com separates welcome benefits, first-flight offers, hotel-stay promos, airport transfers, referral rewards, and marked hotel deals, so an otherwise valid discount can disappear when the account status, product, trip length, or booking path changes. Use the matching deal box above for the exact code, cap, and booking rules.

One detail that can change the real savings: do not assume a car-rental discount also covers add-ons. The current exclusive rental offer excludes extras such as child seats, GPS, and insurance and limits the code to two uses, so judge the discount against the base rental total rather than the fully loaded booking.

Next savings opportunity: early October is the next reasonable period to watch. Trip.com's promo archive shows an October Super Destination campaign opening October 6 last year, so another destination-led fall push would fit the recent pattern; no 2026 launch date has been confirmed.

Trip.com deals right now: which option fits your booking?

Which Trip.com offer should a new user check first?

Start with the welcome offer of up to $70 because it is tied to new users and covers eligible hotel and transportation deals. If your first booking is a flight, compare it with the separate $15 first-flight offer and use the deal box above for the exact code and rules.

What should a returning member compare on a hotel booking?

Check the logged-in member price as well as the current hotel promotion. Trip.com offers member-only hotel pricing at participating properties marked with a Tier Deal tag, so the best final price may come from the member rate rather than the largest public headline discount.

Is the up-to-$100 referral offer a normal booking coupon?

No. The current offer is tied to inviting a friend, so it should be treated as referral savings rather than a general checkout discount. Use the referral deal box above for the exact eligibility and redemption details.

How to apply a Trip.com coupon code?

Once you've got yourself a valid promo code, the next step is to add it to your booking. Simply copy the Trip.com promo code. Then follow the correct instructions for booking your hotel. Once you've got the right dates in place and are ready to book, paste the Trip.com promotional code into the coupon box.

Make sure you check the box to apply the discount code for Trip.com otherwise, it will not get added to your booking. You need to perform the step before you pay otherwise the promo code will not be added to your booking, and you will pay the full amount.

Trip.com deals that don’t require a code

Don’t have a promo code for Trip.com that you can use? Creating an account is the best way to get even more offers and savings. The company will grant you instant access to many of them, but only as long as you are registered.

Also, every day there will be at least one flash deal going on, letting you spend less on select flights, hotels or other services. Even more benefits and discounts will be promoted during major Trip.com Sales events like Trip.com Black Friday, Easter, Christmas, New Year’s and so on. Some of those benefits are free cancellation, price match guarantee and app-only pricing.

Another option to save money is to check the website or app every #TripTuesday: as a matter of fact, every Tuesday at 11AM the company releases flight codes that can help you save up to 40% and other limited-time deals.

Seasonal Trip.com promos and the latest codes are usually available in the Today’s Top Deals section of the website: this is the perfect place to find a way to book your holiday at a lower price.

More savings can be found if you book a Flight + Hotel bundle deal. In addition to the discount, this option entitles you to the Flight & Hotel Booking Guarantee, which allows you to cancel your hotel booking for free if you’re unable to show up at check in because of a flight change.

Lastly, don’t forget to check out the student discount section if you qualify: you’ll find discounted flight fares, free changes and cancellation options and more perks. To avail of these promotions, select “only show student tickets” in the filter section.

Trip.com Rewards and Trip Coins

Signing up for the Trip.com Rewards loyalty program is completely free and immediately unlocks great perks. While the program is based on a hierarchical tier system, all members get to earn Trip Coins, avail of the Flight-Hotel Cancellation Guarantee and can enjoy Hotel Member deals.

Of course, higher-tiers members will enjoy more rewards: they’ll earn points faster (up to 200% more points), get free airport VIP Lounge access, a free global eSIM data package and free attraction tickets.

Trip coins can be used at checkout just like standard cash to pay for prepaid bookings. The amount of Trip Coins you earn depends on the deal (for example, the basic rate states that every $100 spent on flights earn 20 Coins while the same amount of money on hotels earns 50 coins) and the member-status.

Trip.com app and member-only deals

For the travel lover constantly on the go, the official Trip.com app can be useful and rewarding. By downloading it for free, you can access app-exclusive deals and keep up with your journey details.  Some discount codes for Trip.com also only work via the mobile app, so having it makes your chances of saving money higher than ever.

On the app, you can also see exclusive member prices and use your member privileges to earn more Trip Coins. One aspect that you should not overlook is the possibility of referring a friend. By sharing your unique link or code, your friend will enjoy an exclusive Trip.com promo code new user and you’ll get 1.000 Trip Coins (that’s a $10 discount). In this way, you can earn up to $100 off your future trips.

Common issues with Trip.com promo codes

Most problems with promo codes are caused by mistakes made while activating them. For example, you may have accidentally copied the wrong Trip.com code or used letters and numbers which do not belong to the code. That’s why you should read it a second time and apply the needed changes to make the coupon for Trip.com work.

You must remember that every Trip.com promotion code expires after some time. The first and last day of availability are given on the same page where you have found the code. Just make sure they haven’t passed by already, or you’ll need to find other options which are still up for grabs.

Lastly, you must be aware of the various terms and conditions set for each code. For example, you are not allowed to stack promo codes for extra savings, or you may need to use one for a specific destination: of course, a Trip.com promo code flight will not work on hotel-only deals. Among the terms and conditions of the discount codes, you'll need to make sure that they work within your time zone.

Cancellation and booking flexibility

When booking your hotel room or flight, you’ll often have to face different options involving flexibility. While there is no better one, it is important to understand what choices you have.

Free cancellation allows you to change or cancel your booking up to a select amount of time before the departure date, but it is usually more expensive.

Non-refundable bookings are cheaper, but if something happens and you need to cancel, there will be no refund.

You should evaluate your specific needs and choose the best option for you. Do you prefer piece of mind or maximum savings? It is up to you.
