Iberostar resort campaigns in fall 2026 and in late 2025

Iberostar's offers page and its kids stay free terms, read in fall 2026. Early that fall the offers page was already selling winter 2026-27 stays, with resort campaigns for the Caribbean, Mexico, Brazil and Miami Beach listed next to offers for the hotels in Europe and Africa.

Nearly all of the campaigns for resorts in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Aruba, Brazil and Miami Beach were set to stop taking bookings at the end of October 2026, with stay dates reaching the end of February 2027. On the European and African side of the page, many offers were set to take bookings into early November 2026 for stays through April 2027.

The offers listed above, as they stood in early fall 2026, mixed destination cards for areas such as Riviera Maya, Cancun, Puerto Plata and Miami Beach with coupon cards that carry a code, some of them tied to a destination of their own, such as hotels in Brazil or in Riviera Maya, Cancun and Cozumel. Some of the destination cards said in their terms that no code was needed. Other cards were built around two features of booking direct: an extra discount for finding a lower price elsewhere, and a reduction for paying at the time of booking.

The kids stay free page carried two sets of hotel conditions at once that fall: one for stays through October 2026 and one for stays from November 2026 to the end of April 2027, the second with its own list of hotels and its own blocked dates.

The fourth limit lives away from the FAQ, on the offer pages themselves. Most campaigns published on the Iberostar offers page carry a booking deadline and a separate arrival and departure window, and several of them publish a code alongside the campaign. A code is therefore attached to a campaign rather than to your account: the same string that works for a stay inside the published window returns nothing for a stay outside it, and the offer page linked to that code is where the conditions are written.

That reframes the usual troubleshooting. When a code brings no change to the total, the question is not only whether the string was mistyped but also whether the booking sits inside the campaign the string belongs to, and whether the money you expected to save was sitting in the room and board line at all.

Prepaid, flexible and the total you end up paying

The rate you select is a payment method and a discount at the same time. Iberostar describes the prepaid rate as the best price on the site, applied automatically to the final price once you choose that payment method, and available when you book on the official site, through the contact center or through IHG's own site. The same description names the cost right after: changes are not allowed on that rate.

The flexible rate runs the other way. The free cancellation page says you can book without paying anything in advance, settle at the hotel, and cancel or modify without penalties. How long that window stays open is set by the hotel, the rate and when the booking was made, so the deadline that binds you is the cancellation policy shown on your own reservation, not a general rule.

A booking with fixed dates and paid flights can take the prepaid line without much exposure. A booking still waiting on a school calendar or a connecting flight is buying something real by passing on the prepaid discount, and the gap between the two prices is what flexibility costs.

The price guarantee, and where a code cancels it

Book on the official site and a second route to a lower price opens up. The Best Online Price Guaranteed page says that if you find a better price elsewhere, Iberostar will match it and apply an additional 5% discount when the request meets the conditions of the program, with confirmation arriving within a maximum of two days.

Those conditions are strict in a way that matters before you book. The rate you found has to be the same hotel, the same room category and board, the same dates, the same number of guests, the same currency and the same cancellation and payment conditions, it has to be published online and open to the public, and the request goes in within 24 hours of the booking or of the search that turned it up. Only the person who made the booking can file it. The terms also say the extra discount is not applied when the two prices are €5 or less apart.

The exclusion list is where the two savings paths meet, and they cancel each other. Among the cases the program does not cover, the terms name prices that come out of applying promotional codes, along with package rates that bundle flights or transfers, rates from loyalty or paid subscription programs, and rates that are not published online at all. A booking already reduced by a code is therefore not the booking you take to the price guarantee, which makes the choice between the two an actual decision instead of a stack.

What the official site adds beyond the rate

Some of what direct booking hands over never reaches the price at all, and one piece of it is time. The benefits page describes a hold that keeps your room and locks the price for 24 hours while you decide, at no charge and with an email carrying a link back to the saved selection, and that changes how two resorts compare when the decision needs a night to settle.

The alliance with IHG began in late 2022, and Iberostar describes IHG One Rewards as live at its Beachfront Resorts: members earn points there and across the wider IHG estate of more than 6,000 hotels under 18 brands, and the listed member benefits at Iberostar are points, access to special rates and offers, and late check-out.

The scope is narrower than the brand name suggests. Earning and on-property benefits apply at participating Iberostar Beachfront Resorts, not at every hotel carrying the Iberostar name, so the property has to be checked before the stay is treated as a qualifying one. Elite tiers add more on top, including bonus points, a welcome amenity and Milestone Rewards, with Platinum and Diamond members choosing between points and a hotel credit at check-in.

Spending points works in the other direction. Reward Nights at participating Beachfront Resorts are booked on the IHG side, through its site, its app or its customer care line, and Iberostar notes that local taxes and fees are still paid at the resort. At all-inclusive properties the guest count and the ages on the reservation matter even on a reward night, since those hotels cap how many people a stay can hold and the correction is charged at check-in.

What the all-inclusive board already covers

On a resort booking the board is the discount nobody counts. Iberostar says the all-inclusive arrangement varies by destination, and the difference between two regions lies in what is already included.

For the Caribbean the official description is the fuller one: a range of restaurants with unlimited a la carte dinners, snacks at any hour, a minibar restocked daily, an hour of non-motorized water sports each day, evening shows and the Star Camp children's program. The Mediterranean description is lighter, covering breakfast, lunch and dinner along with snacks and drinks through the day. Iberostar puts Star Camp at ages four to seventeen with more than 140 activities, which is what a family is really buying on that board.

A room-only rate at one property and an all-inclusive rate at another are not two prices for the same vacation: on a week in Cancun or Punta Cana, the all-inclusive rate already covers the restaurant meals, snacks and minibar that a room-only rate does not include.

Free child places and the limits written into them

The kids stay free campaign is real and it is narrow, and Iberostar publishes the terms in full rather than in a summary. The campaign conditions ask that children be accompanied by two adults, restrict the offer to selected rooms, and make it subject to availability on the dates named.

Hotel by hotel the same page then adds an age line for the free place, six years old at most of the hotels listed and higher at a few of them, names the room categories the offer runs in, and blocks out the dates it does not cover. Those blocked windows fall over the winter holidays and the school breaks, which is exactly when a family is looking. Connecting rooms and family rooms turn up on the exclusion side more than once, and that is the room a family reaches for first.

Geography is the limit a traveler from the United States meets first.
