Three quick answers before you buy this season

Can I give a Ticketmaster gift card for the holidays? Yes. The eGift Card can be forwarded by email to whoever it is for, and it is redeemed on the payment screen, in the same section that takes promo codes. The cards work only in the United States and Canada, though, and they cannot pay for MLB tickets or for events where Ticketmaster is not the primary seller.

Does a code work on a ticket someone else is reselling? No. The help center states that discount codes, promo codes and passcodes cannot be applied when purchasing resale tickets, and gift cards are excluded on those listings too.

In 2025, Ticketmaster released its Black Friday ticket deals through its holiday gift guide, a seasonal hub that set holiday shows next to concerts, sports and theater, and its Ticket Deals section linked to that guide.

Rush tickets, lotteries and standing-room seats have another owner again. Ticketmaster states that those are run solely by the team, artist, league, venue or production, so the organizer's own site is where the rules live; for a Broadway title, the theater box office is the shortest route to an answer. What the All In Price already includes

Since Ticketmaster moved to All In Prices, the figure on the event list and on the seat map is the total ticket price with fees included. Local taxes and delivery, if you pick a delivery option, may be added at checkout, and the split between ticket price and service fee opens from the arrow next to the Subtotal.

That changes how a reduction reads. The face value is set by the event organizer, while the service fee is charged once per ticket and shared among the parties running the event, so an offer built on the ticket price does not necessarily touch the fee side of the total.
