ULTA Coupon Code valid in October 2026

A beauty purchase at ULTA can involve a product discount, a gift and a Rewards redemption in the same bag. Coupon eligibility depends on the products and the offer: a fragrance, a salon service and an everyday beauty essential can have different exclusions. Start with the coupon list on this page, then check which part of your purchase qualifies before treating the advertised saving as a reduction on the whole order.

This guide was last reviewed in September 2026. The live coupons and prices listed above are updated automatically and take precedence over any example described in this guide.

How to apply an ULTA promo code

Put your selected products in the shopping bag and review their sizes, shades and quantities. ULTA's Guest Services instructions call the desktop coupon option “Add Coupon Code.” Look near the order summary; if the coupon area is collapsed, expand it before entering the code. The layout can differ between the website and app.

1. Open the offer's terms and check that your products and shopping channel qualify.
2. Paste the code into the coupon field. The help page describes “Enter Coupon” on desktop and “Enter a coupon code” on mobile.
3. Apply the code using the coupon control, described in the help instructions as “APPLY CODE.”
4. Review the discount and any excluded products in the bag before submitting payment.

An accepted code should produce the expected adjustment on eligible merchandise. Keep shipping, tax and excluded items separate when checking the result. If you also want to redeem Rewards points, that is a payment-stage choice with its own eligibility rules.

Why an ULTA coupon may leave items at full price

Read the exclusions for the particular coupon. ULTA's general restrictions cover certain prestige beauty brands, fragrance, services and promotional categories, but the exact offer controls what is included. A skin care or hair care coupon can therefore apply to some products in the bag while leaving others unchanged. Gift card purchases are excluded from ordinary coupon discounts.

Check the qualifying subtotal, expiration, account requirements and channel before trying the code again. A minimum purchase can refer to eligible merchandise rather than the full amount including tax or shipping. Copying the code without surrounding spaces and refreshing the bag are reasonable checks, but they cannot make an excluded product eligible. Confirm that you are shopping on the US site with the intended account.

For ordinary online coupons, ULTA allows one coupon code per order, and a code may be limited to one use. The bag can identify excluded items. If the terms appear to match but the discount still fails, ask Guest Services about that offer before paying; do not assume that repeatedly submitting it will change the restrictions.

Sale prices, beauty gifts and multi-item offers

The Deals and Sale areas include product markdowns that do not require typing an ULTA discount code. Buy More Save More promotions depend on the specified combination or quantity of eligible products. Review the price adjustment in the bag, especially when an offer restricts whether brands can be combined.

A gift with purchase can have a brand-specific minimum, a limited selection and a stock restriction. Some gifts are added automatically; others require you to add the qualifying gift yourself. Read its instructions before checkout. A gift offered with a shipped order may be unavailable for pickup or same-day delivery, even when the purchased products are available locally.

Member events can also include gifts or special offers for eligible Rewards tiers. Check the current invitation instead of expecting a new tier gift every week. Black Friday and other seasonal events are opportunities to review sale selections, with their own dates and exclusions; a previous event's discount does not establish the terms of the next one.

Rewards points, member levels and birthday gifts

Ulta Beauty Rewards is free to join. Members earn points on qualifying purchases and redeem an available balance toward eligible products or services. Connect your Member ID to your online account and sign in when shopping. Points reflect qualifying spending after discounts; buying a gift card or paying tax and shipping does not earn the same merchandise points.

Platinum and Diamond status depend on qualifying annual spending. These levels earn points faster and include additional offers and birthday perks. Points do not expire while the qualifying status is maintained. Diamond has further benefits, including a qualification gift and shipping benefits subject to an order minimum and destination restrictions. Review your account for the benefits you have actually unlocked.

Add your birthday and opt in to marketing communications before your birthday month. Birthday bonus points require activation. For the birthday gift, online redemption requires signing in, selecting an available gift and making a qualifying purchase with a positive subtotal that includes an eligible non-Marketplace product. Shipping can still apply. In-store redemption uses the birthday coupon from the email or app, and the selection is limited by stock.

The app brings together member offers, your points balance and birthday choices. Activate a bonus offer when its instructions require it. Separately, eligible purchases through Discoup can earn Discoup points under the account's current rules; those points are distinct from the retailer's Rewards balance.

Email, text, app and credit card offers

ULTA's email and text sign-up page offers news about sales, new arrivals and promotions. Look for an invitation's eligibility terms before expecting a first-order benefit or early access. A one-time text sign-up offer may be available during a campaign, but subscribing alone should not be treated as a promise of a particular discount. App-only promotions must be used through the channel stated in the offer.

The Ulta Beauty Rewards credit card has a separate first-purchase benefit for an approved new account. Its terms specify qualifying use of the new card, one-time redemption and exclusions; online approvals also require email opt-in to receive the offer. The card page states that this benefit applies after other coupons, discounts and incentives. That specific provision does not authorize stacking ordinary coupon codes. Review the card's credit terms independently of the promotional saving.

Pickup, delivery charges and discounted returns

For store pickup, choose an available location and wait for the ready notification before traveling. Curbside pickup is available at selected stores. Free standard delivery depends on the current qualifying minimum, destination and exclusions, so check the shipping line after applying discounts. Free-shipping eligibility is more restricted than the range of addresses to which ULTA can deliver.

Keep the order confirmation if you might return an item. Refund eligibility depends on the return window, product condition and purchase details; the method can change as the return window progresses. Discounts are allocated across the purchase, and a single-use coupon is not reissued simply because an item is returned. Earned points are deducted for returned purchases, while points used to buy a returned item are restored proportionately under the Rewards rules.
