Petco Promo Code valid in November 2026

The delivery choice can change the discount. A Petco promo code for a one-time purchase, an Autoship offer and Petco Perks points each have their own rules. Start with the food, supplies or service you need, then compare that purchase with the offers listed above. A subscription price should be evaluated with its future deliveries in mind; a pickup offer depends on selecting an eligible store order.

Petco sells supplies for dogs, cats, fish, birds, reptiles and small animals, alongside pet services. That range matters when checking a coupon: a food promotion does not necessarily cover treats, and a merchandise discount does not automatically apply to grooming. Read the eligible products, any required spending minimum and the fulfillment method before copying a code.

This guide was last reviewed in fall 2026. The live coupons and prices listed above are updated automatically and take precedence over any example described in this guide.

How to apply a Petco promo code

Open the offer you intend to use and check whether it supplies a code or describes an automatic discount. For a coded offer, copy the code without extra spaces. Choose the appropriate product size, flavor or other variant on Petco, since eligibility can depend on the actual item purchased. Then check the quantity and delivery selection in your cart.

1. Add your chosen item from its product page, or through a quick-buy option if that option appears. You may be taken to a full cart page after adding it; a continue-shopping control, where available, lets you return to browsing.
2. Look for the promotional-code field in the cart. Depending on the layout, it may appear on the right side. Paste your Petco coupon code and use the apply control if shown.
3. Read the recalculated order details before continuing. The summary may appear below the code entry; an accepted discount should be reflected in the amount due. A copied code alone is not confirmation that the offer applied.
4. Use the control to proceed to checkout when you are ready, if the cart presents that step. Review the personal, shipping and billing information requested there, along with any delivery fees, before placing the order.

If the total does not change, compare the offer with the cart's contents and delivery method. A qualifying minimum, excluded product or expired promotion can affect eligibility. Keep an Autoship enrollment offer separate from an ordinary Petco discount code: choosing a recurring delivery is a different action from entering a coupon for a single order.

Fall shopping for your pet

Petco's seasonal shops, reviewed for fall 2026. On Petco.com the Halloween Shop groups dog and cat costumes, wigs and accessories, Halloween toys, treats and decor, and night-safety items. The Fall Shop includes pumpkin-themed products, fall outfits, game-day gear and cozy beds and furniture, while the Holiday Shop sorts gifts by price and by type of pet, with a section of gifts for people.

In October 2026, Petco Perks members could activate an in-store bonus-points offer whose points reached the account only after the offer had ended, with a short window to spend them as Petco Cash. For the 2026 holidays, Petco offers same-day delivery on eligible orders, curbside service for buy online, pick up in store orders, and nationwide shipping with holiday delivery deadlines.

How the season runs: Halloween closes out October 2026; Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2026 follow late in November 2026; and the gift season, with the 2026 holiday collection that Petco presented in October 2026, lasts through December 2026.

Autoship and pickup offer different ways to order

Autoship is a recurring-delivery service for eligible products. Petco's setup instructions call for selecting “Save with Autoship” in the cart, then choosing quantity and frequency. Subsequent deliveries receive 5% off the current online selling price, with exclusions. The underlying price can change, so the subscription does not lock in the amount paid on the first order.

The introductory Autoship promotion has separate limits: the published 35% discount is capped at $20. Its terms permit the first-order discount twice per year, with the redemption period resetting a year after the first use, and limit Autoship promotions to once per item. Check the current offer and product eligibility; the introductory percentage is not the discount for every delivery.

Your account lets you skip a shipment, adjust the date, change frequency or cancel the subscription. Some items also offer a size or flavor change through “Edit Item.” Canceling after an order has been processed does not undo that order or its charge. Review the pending shipment before assuming that changing the subscription has stopped everything already underway.

Pickup promotions concern a different route. Choose pickup and the store when that fulfillment option is offered for the item. The promotion's qualifying subtotal concerns eligible pickup merchandise, not unrelated shipped items. Read its own spending requirement and combination restrictions. A one-time pickup purchase should not be treated as an Autoship delivery simply because the same product is available both ways.

Petco Perks members can earn points from Autoship purchases and choose to apply available Petco Cash to a future subscription order through their account. That account option is separate from adding a new coupon. Before the next shipment, review the products, quantities, price and any points you intend to use together.

Petco Perks: free points or an annual Premier plan

Petco Perks is the current name of the program previously called Vital Care. The free membership is available to adults 18 and older without a purchase requirement. Identify your membership at the store register, or sign in for website and app purchases, so eligible spending can be credited to the account.

The free program awards 10 points per eligible dollar on other brands and services, and 30 points per eligible dollar on Petco-owned brands. Earnings use qualifying spending after coupon and promotional reductions; taxes, shipping, fees, gift-card purchases and donations do not earn points. Eligible spending is rounded to the nearest dollar under the program's calculation rules.

A thousand points convert to $1 in Petco Cash. Redemption becomes available at 5,000 points, or $5, with the amount chosen in the allowed increments. You do not have to load earned rewards in advance. Personalized offers may still require activation, so a ready-to-spend points balance and an activated offer are not interchangeable.

For Premier dogs and cats, the food benefit is 10% on eligible food, excluding treats and chews. Dogs have a 20% full-service grooming benefit, while cats have a 20% litter benefit. Eligible companion-animal plans offer 15% on qualifying food and supplies; wild-bird and poultry products are excluded. Benefits belong to the enrolled pet, require the membership and subscription to be active and in good standing, and generally cannot be combined with already-discounted products or other promotions unless expressly allowed.

Monthly billing still carries an annual commitment. Turning off renewal does not cancel the remaining payments in the current term or provide a partial refund for that choice. Read the enrollment price, renewal date and the benefits for your pet before joining. The paid plan is optional; earning points through the free program does not require taking out Premier.

A sitewide code for loyalty members: Petco's Black Friday in 2024 and 2025

For Black Friday in 2024 and again in 2025, Petco offered members of its loyalty program, then called Vital Care, a 20% off sitewide promo code entered in the shopping cart at checkout on Petco.com, valid from November 25 to 30, 2024, with a maximum discount of $30, and from November 24 to 29, 2025. For Cyber Monday 2024, the same members had a 25% off sitewide code from December 1 to 3, 2024, again capped at $30.

In both years the code was single-use and could not be combined with other promotions or coupons, and its exclusions included services such as grooming, training and vet services, a list of brands, and buy online, pick up in store orders. In 2024 it also left out Repeat Delivery orders; in 2025 it could not be used on active or existing Repeat Delivery orders or stacked on buy-one-get-one offers, applied only to in-stock, regularly priced items, and could be combined with Vital Care rewards.

Shipping charges and the right return route

Qualifying online orders with a merchandise subtotal of at least $39 before tax and shipping receive free standard shipping automatically. Oversized or heavy items, special freight services and excluded products can carry additional charges. Destination restrictions also apply. Check the delivery charge for the actual address rather than assuming that reaching the threshold makes every shipment free.

Standard delivery within the continental United States is generally listed as two to five business days. Faster shipping options have their own charges and timing. An estimated transit period is not a promise that an order placed today will arrive on a particular day; processing, product restrictions and the method available at checkout still matter.

For an eligible online purchase returned to a Petco store, the policy allows a refund within 30 days of the initial shipment and merchandise credit from day 31 through day 60. Bring purchase evidence and valid government-issued identification. A purchase originally made in a store uses the purchase date instead. Missing receipts, product restrictions and returns outside the allowed period can prevent acceptance.

Mail returns follow their own instructions and can have a return-shipping fee deducted; the original shipping charge is not refundable. Prescription medications cannot be returned either by mail or to a store, and live animals have separate policies. Do not apply the ordinary merchandise window to those purchases. Prescription food is a different category from prescription medication and has its own return conditions.
