PetSmart Promo Code valid in October 2026

PetSmart promo codes and member offers

PetSmart savings can come from coupons, activated Treats offers and eligible Autoship purchases. A code entered in the cart follows its own product and purchase requirements. Treats Rewards adds account-based offers and points, while Autoship applies eligible subscription discounts when you enroll. These benefits do not form a single discount that applies to every order.

Start with the items and service you intend to buy. A bag of food, a grooming appointment and a recurring delivery can have different conditions, even when you arrange them through the same account. Review the reduction and any delivery charge on the order you are actually placing.

PetSmart in fall 2026: Halloween costumes, holiday gifts and pet services

Updated for fall 2026. PetSmart's fall 2026 shopping moves from a Halloween shop to a holiday shop, each stocked with costumes, toys, treats and supplies for pets, and the holiday shop opened while Halloween items were still available, so gift shopping can start early. Seasonal merchandise follows the same rule as the rest of the catalog: a promotion covers the products it names as eligible.

Seasonal salon specials can come with Treats Rewards bonus points, which count only when the offer is activated in the signed-in account before checkout. For holiday travel in late 2026, PetSmart encourages pet parents to book PetsHotel stays early and to add any upgrades when they book, and every stay depends on space at the chosen location and on the pet meeting its age, health and vaccination requirements.

The 2026 season at a glance: Halloween 2026 costumes, toys and treats come first, then the holiday shop takes over with Christmas costumes, toys and gifts for pets, and Treats Rewards bonus-point offers come and go along the way, each with its own end date and activation step.

Browse the offers listed above for the purchase you are planning, then use the corresponding terms to check products, services and exclusions.

How to apply a PetSmart coupon code

Add the products you want to the shopping cart and review their eligibility. Some online reductions are automatic; an offer requiring a code needs the separate entry described in its instructions. For a mixed basket, the qualifying items determine which prices can change.

1. Open the cart and look for the promotional-code entry.
2. Copy the code exactly as provided, including its capitalization. PetSmart codes are case sensitive.
3. Apply the entry. Enter codes individually: using several can cancel promotions already attached to the order.
4. Review the discount in the order summary and check the amount due before paying.

If the expected discount is missing, examine the eligible products, required quantity, expiration and combination rules. Sale merchandise is not universally excluded: the particular offer decides. A promotion on one product does not establish that the other items in the basket qualify.

For a spend-based offer, PetSmart's general terms calculate the qualifying total after discounts and before tax and shipping. Check that subtotal when assessing a minimum purchase requirement. For buy/get offers, the reduction goes to the lowest-priced qualifying item, with any required quantity and mixing restrictions set by the offer.

Treats Rewards offers and point earning

Treats Rewards is free to join for eligible adults living in the United States, including Puerto Rico. Membership covers qualifying shopping and pet services. In-store member pricing, personalized offers and benefits associated with Member, Bestie or VIPP status follow the program's requirements; account creation is not a guarantee of a general welcome coupon.

Activate a bonus-point offer before making the qualifying purchase. When shopping online, sign in to the relevant account; at a store, identify your membership at checkout. Offers can be delivered by email, text or the app, and the selection available to one member need not be available to another. Read the offer in your account for its eligible purchase and activation requirements.

Point earning is based on eligible spending. Coupon reductions, shipping charges, bag fees, taxes, tips, gift-card purchases and veterinary services do not earn points. Paying for eligible merchandise with a gift card is a different situation from buying the gift card itself. A discounted basket therefore should not be assessed using the original, undiscounted total for point earning.

Available points can reduce qualifying purchases through the store associate or, when applicable, through the redemption option in your signed-in cart or checkout. The account's available redemption amount and the eligible purchase total limit what you can use. Points are not cash and cannot be transferred to another member.

Autoship enrollment and recurring purchases

Autoship schedules continuing orders for eligible products at the frequency you choose. Enrollment requires a PetSmart account, and the subscription uses a credit or debit card for recurring payment. Check the item and enrollment terms before choosing this option for food, litter or other routine supplies.

For an eligible first order, available fulfillment can include shipping, pickup or same-day delivery. A first order scheduled for a future shipment uses ship-to-home, and subsequent subscription orders are shipped to your address. Discussing Autoship in a store or receiving an enrollment email does not activate the subscription; online checkout completes enrollment.

You can manage recurring orders through your account, including changing the frequency, skipping a delivery or canceling. Make changes at least a day before the next order is processed; a cancellation inside that interval may not stop that order. A scheduled first order has a different process: contact Customer Care before shipment to request a change or cancellation.

Eligible recurring purchases can also contribute to an Autoship Points Payout. The first order is excluded from that qualifying recurring spend. The benefit is delivered through an account offer that must be activated, and the resulting bonus points have a limited redemption period. Keep those future points separate from the price reduction shown on the purchase itself.

PetSmart pickup and delivery choices

Free standard shipping for Treats members requires sign-in and a qualifying order that meets the applicable spending threshold after discounts and before tax. The offer covers eligible shipments in the contiguous United States and military APO/FPO addresses, with product exclusions. Live pets and fresh or frozen foods can have restrictions. Check the current minimum and the shipping charge after the coupon is applied.

Select the eligible standard service when using that shipping benefit. A faster method can carry a charge, and the products and destination determine the available choices. The checkout calculation includes the selected delivery method; a crossed-out merchandise price does not show the full delivered cost.

Curbside and in-store pickup are free for eligible orders. PetSmart's promotional terms require at least two hours between ordering and same-day pickup, with local hours and cutoffs also applying. Wait for the ready notification before traveling to the store. Prescription medications are excluded from pickup, and stock availability can change the order's status.

PetSmart also offers same-day delivery where the address and products qualify. Select an available delivery window and confirm the charge for that order; free delivery has its own eligibility and exclusions. Service availability does not guarantee a particular arrival time, and the store-pickup and delivery options should be compared on the same completed purchase.

Grooming, boarding and training offers

PetSmart publishes monthly service specials for its Grooming Salon, PetsHotel, Doggie Day Camp and training. Service availability varies by location, and the promotion can depend on the appointment or package being purchased. Pet age, health and vaccination requirements apply, with possible breed restrictions.

A retail merchandise code does not automatically become a service discount. Read the service offer itself for exclusions and any Treats requirement. The new-customer salon special requires Treats membership and advance purchase for one dog or cat in your profile before the first qualifying bath or groom. Add-ons, walk-ins and bulk packages are excluded. Its validity runs from purchase, so check that the appointment falls within the stated period.

Salon Reward Certificates have another mechanism: qualifying visits can produce an offer for limited-time bonus points. Claim the certificate through the account and use the points within its stated validity. A certificate earned through grooming is distinct from a price reduction on the appointment being booked.

PetSmart's Price Match Promise

Price matching concerns an identical item available at a lower price from an eligible direct seller. PetSmart's policy covers specified retail categories and their official websites, and it also matches PetSmart.com prices for purchases in its stores. The lower price must still be valid, with a receipt, advertisement or other proof.

The policy excludes marketplace, auction and reseller listings, price aggregators, closeout outlets and specified special-event prices. Clearance, liquidation, free-with-purchase, buy-one-get-one-free and rebate comparisons are excluded, as are pets and services. Ask the store associate about an eligible comparison without assuming that a price match can be combined with a separate coupon.

Activated bonus points and an extra checkout code: Black Friday and Cyber Monday from 2023 to 2025

In 2023 the Black Friday deals included select dog and cat beds, cat furniture and scratching posts, holiday collars and treats, and select aquarium starter kits. The Black Friday 2024 deals ran in stores and online through Sunday, December 1, 2024; until that date eligible holiday merchandise was 50% off, and Treats Rewards members who activated the offer could earn 10,000 bonus points on purchases of $100 or more. In 2025 an Early Black Friday sale took an extra 20% off thousands of items with a promo code through November 26, 2025, and dog food, cat food and cat litter were among them. On Black Friday 2025, Treats Rewards members could activate an offer of 10,000 bonus points per day on $100 or more of products and services through November 30, 2025, and the Grooming Salon had a Black Friday deal of its own: a fourth bath or groom free after buying three.

On Cyber Monday in 2023, 2024 and 2025, PetSmart offered an extra 20% off with a promo code. In 2023 that offer was online only and ran through December 3, 2023; in 2024 it covered online favorites through December 8, 2024; and in 2025 it applied to thousands of items through December 7, 2025. In both 2023 and 2025 the code went in at checkout and the extra 20% came off select sale and online prices on petsmart.com and in the PetSmart app. Only eligible products qualified; veterinary care, services, gift cards, gift certificates, previous purchases and charitable donations were excluded, and the offer was not guaranteed to combine with every other promotion.
