Yes. Kaplan offers free online practice tests for GRE, LSAT, MCAT, GMAT, ACT, SAT, PSAT, and NCLEX-RN. The free LSAT diagnostic includes a score report by section and question type, answer explanations, and two weeks of access to instructional videos. Use the results to identify the areas you need to work on before choosing paid prep.

Yes. Kaplan’s Fee Assistance Program covers selected GRE, LSAT, MCAT, DAT, and OAT courses in On Demand, Live Online, and In Person formats for eligible students with verified financial need. The application requires a FAFSA Submission Summary or, for MCAT students, an unexpired AAMC Fee Assistance Program award letter. The MCAT On Demand four-month course is excluded. If your application is approved, Kaplan sends instructions for enrolling in your selected program.

Yes. Payment through Affirm can be offered at enrollment for selected products. If you are on installment billing, payments process on their scheduled dates; if you paid through Affirm, manage those payments with Affirm directly.

Act promptly if you need to cancel: refund windows vary by product and can be short. Course cancellation requests must be submitted by the product’s deadline; cancellation refunds are unavailable after access expires, but eligible unused tutoring hours can be refunded after expiration within the tutoring policy’s deadline. Registration, shipping and handling, installment billing, and late payment fees are non-refundable. Review the cancellation terms for your exact prep product before purchasing, particularly if classes or tutoring are about to begin.

Yes, eligible programs have score or pass guarantees with program-specific requirements. Depending on the program and result, qualifying students can receive a tuition refund, a free repeat, or continued online prep. For the Higher Score Guarantee, eligibility includes being a first-time Kaplan student, completing the required work, establishing a baseline score, paying in full, and taking the official test. Choosing free reactivation removes the money-back option; students who improve their score but want to test again can qualify for reactivation, not a refund. Guarantee claims have program-specific deadlines.

Yes, for eligible programs. Eligible comprehensive prep resources other than Medical and Bar Review can be extended from the Account Management Page within 60 days of expiration for up to 24 weeks. Medical programs are eligible for extensions purchased by contacting Kaplan; Bar Review courses are not eligible for extensions. For admissions-test programs, choosing an extension preserves the option to use the Higher Score Guarantee after the extension ends, subject to its requirements and deadline. Kaplan’s Higher Score Guarantee page lists discounted-rate extensions or reactivation of online resources for students who have fully completed their program but are not ready to take the official test. Paid admissions-test extensions are not eligible for Tuition Assistance, even if you qualified for it when you bought your comprehensive course, and extending does not add coaching or tutoring hours.

Yes, if your program includes the ebook: when you choose physical books, you can track the shipment and download the digital book from your Account Management Page while waiting for delivery.

Self-service help covers accounts, payments, shipping, technical issues, online resources, and free practice; contact options include phone, chat, email, and support cases. Student Services phone support for grad, precollege, legal, medical, and nursing programs runs on weekdays, not weekends. Chat and email have a separate schedule that includes Sunday evening.
