DIRECTV viewing options for fall

Fall 2026: DIRECTV's viewing options range from Genre Packs to Signature Packages, with app-based streaming and the Gemini device among the viewing choices. Sports, news, movies and family programming appear across these plans. A base package and a premium add-on are separate selections, so the channel mix and the service you choose matter alongside the introductory offer.

The available formats include introductory package pricing and promotional access to additional content. Individual package pages distinguish the initial offer from the subscription that continues afterward. Open the cards at the top for the listed offers, then use the matching DIRECTV plan page for its service and package conditions.

Package offers and other DIRECTV benefits

A package promotion changes the advertised subscription price for the qualifying plan. DIRECTV says it also has customer rewards and a separate free viewing service. Their benefits take different forms:

Signature Packages have a broader lineup across sports, news and entertainment, while Genre Packs focus only on channels in a particular genre. DIRECTV's Genre Pack pricing can provide a lower-cost entry point than a Signature Package, depending on the pack and the offer available.

Matching an offer to your DIRECTV service

An eligible package, service type or signup route may be required for a DIRECTV discount code. The offer conditions determine the customer group, plan, service type and sales channel that qualify. New-customer offers and satellite service have different requirements from other subscription routes. Some promotions may also be restricted by area under DIRECTV's offer conditions.

A device requirement can be part of a qualifying package promotion. Qualifying package offers may provide monthly bill credits, and gift-card promotions can be restricted to selected sales channels. Some package promotions may be limited to one offer per account, may not be available through every sales channel, and may not be combined with certain other promotions. Some promotions may require CHOICE or a higher package. A manual code may not stack with another core promotion on the same DIRECTV service.

Local and regional sports channels vary by package and location. You may need to be in your billing region to watch them. A promotion tied to one service or package may not apply through a different signup route.

DIRECTV PERKS reward choices

DIRECTV says that, for PERKS members, virtual tokens can be redeemed for bill credits, movie rentals, reward cards, premium content and sweepstakes entries. According to DIRECTV, the program also provides member deals, free previews, upgrades and add-on offers tailored to the viewing experience.

PERKS rewards may also include e-gift cards and exclusive merchandise, as well as movie-rental discounts, depending on availability and customer type.

Qualifying for DIRECTV referral rewards

According to DIRECTV's referral help, the referring customer needs an active DIRECTV account in good standing. Register for the program and share your unique referral link. Your friend must register through that link, sign up for qualifying service and pay the first bill. The referring account can receive up to five qualifying referral rewards per calendar year.

The referral offer terms distinguish qualifying residential DIRECTV service with a 24-month agreement from the separate STREAM referral option. Referral offers are subject to change and may be modified, discontinued or terminated without notice.

MyFree DIRECTV

According to DIRECTV, MyFree offers a rotating selection of free channels through the DIRECTV app and supported streaming devices, without a paid subscription. DIRECTV describes MyFree as requiring registration and an internet-connected device, with no credit card or contract required.

Managing your DIRECTV subscription

You can sign in to watch TV online, pay bills, upgrade service, add premiums and add-ons, and get personalized support.

Equipment returns and DIRECTV support

DIRECTV's equipment-return and recycling guidance separates satellite service from internet-connected service. For satellite service, leased equipment must be returned in good condition when you cancel service, replace equipment or remove it from your account, to avoid non-return or damaged-equipment fees; owned equipment can be kept. Leased internet-connected equipment also needs to be returned in good condition when you cancel service, order a warranty replacement or remove equipment from your account, to avoid those fees.

DIRECTV offers phone and chat support through its customer-service page for help with an offer, account or equipment question.
