Black Friday is a major day in the shopping calendar. Landing just before Christmas, it's a time when retailers drop their prices across a wide array of different products. The day takes place on the third Friday of November, and is after Thanksgiving in the US. Following this, is Cyber Monday. Launched to encourage people to shop online, it's just three days after Black Friday. These days, the two days are linked, with many retailers opting to keep all their deals and discounts running for the weekend as well.

Like many companies, Mitre has opted to join in on Black Friday. This means you can typically find various deals in place during this time. But, like other UK companies, they do not focus on this period of time only. In fact, there are deals and discounts offered all year round. Often, these coincide with the start of a season, or school terms as well as other major holidays.
