Dunelm Discount Code valid in October 2026

A made-to-measure order with the wrong drop is the Dunelm mistake no discount can rescue, because curtains and blinds made to your measurements only go back if they are faulty, damaged or not made to the specification you gave. Saving money is more straightforward: the price cut open to every shopper is the reduced price on Special Buys, clearance and returned stock, with nothing to type at the basket, while most of the codes in Dunelm's promotion terms reach people individually, by email (birthdays included), through the app, on a store receipt or via a membership scheme.

This guide was last reviewed in October 2026. The live voucher codes and prices listed above are updated automatically and take precedence over any examples given in this guide.

Dunelm voucher codes in October 2026: free lining upgrades and in-store receipt offers

Checked on 17 October 2026. Made-to-measure curtains and Roman blinds ordered between 13 October and 2 November 2026 can be upgraded to blackout or thermal lining free of charge, on full-price orders placed online, in a store or with a made-to-measure virtual consultant, though selected curtains, ripple-header styles among them, are left out.

Shoppers who bought in a Dunelm store between 2 and 21 October 2026 may find a 10% offer printed on their receipt, sometimes with a £40 minimum spend, for one later in-store transaction between 23 October and 6 November 2026. Dunelm decides who receives it, and it can't be used online or on the purchase that produced the receipt.

Dunelm offers checked on 17 October 2026

• 10% off — birthday discount code — account holders with a date of birth saved in advance — the card is listed until 24 February 2027
• 5% off — discount code — members of a money-saving platform for disabled people — the card runs to 23 February 2027
• Up to 75% off — clearance prices, no code — selected items in the clearance — card end date 13 November 2026
• Up to 50% off — sale prices, no code — upholstered furniture in the Special Buys range — the card gives 16 November 2026 as the last day
• Up to 30% off — returned stock, no code — items in the Returns Outlet — shown on the card until 9 November 2026
• Free kids' meal — in-store café offer — a £5 spend in one transaction at a participating Pausa café — the card closes on 16 November 2026

The birthday and membership codes depend on who you are, while the clearance, Special Buys and outlet prices depend only on the item being reduced: an armchair from the upholstery Special Buys needs no code at all, and the coupon list on this page marks those lines as sales rather than codes.

The mistake to avoid: counting on the free lining upgrade for a made-to-measure curtain or Roman blind bought at a reduced price, because the upgrade's terms apply to full-price orders.

Dunelm questions for October 2026

Is there a Dunelm student discount after 12 October 2026? Not on Dunelm's own pages: its student discount page and terms date the latest offer for students, 10% off a spend of £60 or more, from 21 July to 12 October 2026, and list no later period.

Christmas shopping at Dunelm in 2026: how long do you have to return gifts? Longer than usual. Anything bought between 12 October and 24 December 2026 can go back until 31 January 2027 with proof of purchase, though exclusions apply, and the change-of-mind policy already leaves out made-to-measure and made-to-order items, gift cards, and mattresses, duvets or pillows once their seal is broken.

A small basket in October 2026: delivery or Click & Collect? Click & Collect, if a store is close by. At the time of checking, standard delivery cost £3.95 on orders under £60, which is more than a 10% code takes off anything below £39.50, while Click & Collect is free and can be ready in as little as 2 hours when the store holds the item.

Entering a code in the Dunelm basket

Online, a code goes in at the basket, before payment. Open the basket, select Enter Voucher Code, type or paste the code into the Your voucher code box and press Apply Code. Gift cards are dealt with later, on the payment page, so the code and any gift card go in at separate points of the checkout.

In the Dunelm app the route is slightly different. The terms of the app's first-order offer describe a My Vouchers area on the account screen, where selecting a voucher reveals a unique code to copy and paste into the basket screen, and that particular code is valid in the app only.

Where Dunelm's personal codes come from

Dunelm's codes reach shoppers through several routes, and each route has its own rules.

• Marketing emails: subscribers may be sent codes such as a welcome discount, money off a next shop or free standard delivery on smaller orders, each usable until the date given in the email.
• Birthdays: an account holder who saves a date of birth in advance (one birthday entry in Dunelm's promotion terms says at least 7 days, another at least 14), is opted in to marketing emails and has bought from Dunelm in the past 12 months receives a 10% code by email, which can be used on the website, in the app or at a store till.
• The app: signing in to the Dunelm app unlocks offers kept in the account's voucher area, and some of them, such as the welcome offer for a first app order, can't be redeemed online or in store.
• Store receipts: selected customers find a discount printed on the receipt for a later visit, which works in store only and never on the purchase that produced it.
• A furniture pop-up: some visitors to the website are shown a pop-up offering money off a basket of eligible furniture above a set value, and that code lasts only for the browsing session in which it appears.
• Membership schemes: Dunelm issues codes through two outside schemes, one for disabled people and their carers and another whose members request a 5% code for online orders on the scheme's own website, each explained in the FAQ further down.
• Students: Dunelm's student offer has its own terms page setting out the period, the minimum spend and the exclusions; online, eligibility is checked through a third-party student discount provider, and in a store a valid student ID is shown at the till.

Signing up for Dunelm's newsletter also enters you into a prize draw for a £250 Dunelm gift card, with one winner picked every three months and no purchase needed. For more on tracking codes down, see this guide to finding Dunelm discount codes.

Why a Dunelm code is turned down

Each Dunelm code carries its own terms, and a handful of conditions turn up across them.

• One offer at a time: the codes in Dunelm's promotion terms can't be combined with any other offer or deal, so a second code won't stack on the first.
• Buying gift cards: the birthday, app and scheme codes, among others, can't be spent on a gift card.
• Sale items: some codes, the online student offer among them, exclude products already on sale on Dunelm.com.
• Where it was issued: a code sent for one store works online or in that store only, an app code may be limited to the app, and some emailed codes can't be scanned at self-service checkouts.
• Dates and sessions: emailed codes stop working after the use-by date in the email, and the furniture pop-up code ends with the session.

Special Buys, clearance and returned stock

Every week Dunelm picks a few products for its Special Buys range, sold at a low price for a limited time and in limited stock. Clearance lines carry their own reductions on Dunelm's offers pages, and the Returns Outlet sells items that were ordered, delivered and sent back by other customers, then checked by Dunelm's team and listed at a discount. Signed in to Discoup, you can collect Discoup Rewards points on a qualifying Dunelm purchase started from this page, and the programme rules set out which purchases count and when points are confirmed.

Returns work differently on some reduced stock. A Returns Outlet item that turns out to be faulty can be refunded or repaired but not replaced, because outlet stock is limited, and anything sold as ex-display or "less than perfect" can't be returned for a change of mind.

What past Dunelm Black Friday events offered

In 2025, Dunelm's Black Friday promised up to 50% off across thousands of deals on mattresses, furniture, home décor, lighting, kitchen and electricals, with the deals advertised until 2 December 2025. A multi-buy discount code on selected products ran alongside the 2025 prices and was due to end on 1 December 2025.

In 2024 the Black Friday deals were online, with selected offers in stores as well. Between events, Dunelm's Black Friday page stays up as a sign-up form for hearing about the deals first, with links through to its year-round offers.

Delivery, Click & Collect and returns

Standard delivery costs nothing once an order passes a set value and carries a charge under it, express delivery costs extra on eligible items, and furniture and large items arrive with a two-person team who carry them to the room of your choice, up to the second floor, for a separate charge that is waived on larger spends. The charges that apply to an order are the ones shown in the basket.

Click & Collect is free: items held in the chosen store are ready sooner than warehouse items, and an order left uncollected for 7 days expires and is refunded.

Dunelm's Change of Mind policy lets you return or exchange unused items in their original condition, with packaging, tags and seals intact, within 28 days of purchase, as long as you have the Dunelm receipt or order confirmation. Made-to-measure and made-to-order pieces, cut-to-length fabric, ex-display items and gift cards are outside change-of-mind returns, and mattresses, duvets and pillows go back only sealed. Delivery charges are refunded when a whole order arrives damaged or faulty, or under the 14-day cancellation right on online orders, but not for a change of mind, and large furniture goes back through a home collection, not to a store.

When an order used a code, the discount is spread evenly across every product in it unless the order said otherwise, and a refund covers what was actually paid, never the amount the code saved.

Spreading the cost and paying by gift card

Dunelm's payment pages list 12 months' interest-free credit from Creation Consumer Finance on online baskets above a minimum value, with Dunelm acting as a credit broker rather than the lender and approval subject to status, income and UK residence checks. Klarna and PayPal each offer a pay-in-three plan and a pay-in-30-days plan within their own spend limits. These are all forms of credit, and Dunelm asks shoppers to check the repayments are affordable before applying.

Codes and credit don't always mix: the birthday, app, scheme and student code terms all exclude purchases paid with Creation credit, and a Dunelm gift card can't be used alongside Creation, Klarna or PayPal credit either.

A Dunelm gift card comes as a physical card or an e-gift card and is redeemed on the payment page, with one e-gift card per online transaction. Physical cards bought before 24 June 2024 work in stores only.
