How to apply a LEGO promo code?
Once you're actually shopping on LEGO, you need to know how to add your LEGO discount code to your order. Here's how to do that in a few easy steps.
First, you should choose the sets you want to add to your bag. Click on the product and use the quick link, or go to the set's product page to read more about it before clicking on the light blue button to add it to your basket. A pop-up appears to show that the set has been added, and you can continue shopping or view your basket depending on how far through the shop you are.
To view your basket in full, click on the icon in the upper right corner of your screen. This opens the order as a full page. Check that everything is correct. Under Order Summary, you will see a box for the promo code. Click on the header 'Add a promo/LEGO Insiders discount code' and this will open the box for you. Copy your chosen code and then paste it in before clicking on 'Apply'. The value of your order will change to reflect the added discount. You can then complete the purchase by clicking on the checkout button.
Who is LEGO?
LEGO is a Danish company owned by the Lego Group. It is known for the construction of plastic toys, specifically small bricks with which to create larger structures. The company was launched in 1949, when it initially began manufacturing interlocking toy bricks. These bricks are available in a wide range of colours, shapes and sizes alongside different gears and minifigures. Many different objects and scenes can be constructed from these bricks including landscapes, buildings, vehicles and robots. Even sets that have a specific use can be disassembled after building, so that they can be used to construct something else.
When it comes to the molding of the bricks, this global company has factories around the world. Now, manufacturing is done in Denmark, Mexico, China and Hungary. Each year, around 36 billion bricks are produced for use in various sets. And, because of this, LEGO is the largest toy manufacturer in the world with more than 600 billion LEGO parts made by 2015. The company continues to grow thanks to the collaboration and partnership with large movie franchises such as Star Wars and Marvel, both of which have a range of sets based on the movies and characters. LEGO also has building competitions, films, games and eight Legoland amusement parks.
What can you buy on LEGO?

LEGO discount: offers and vouchers to save your money
If you're into LEGO and are likely to be shopping here a lot, then there are some ways to save and gain extra perks you should know about. Some of these are permanent fixtures on the website. For instance, if you're a continual shopper, then joining the LEGO Insiders is the way to go. This is the membership programme offered by the company and can really help you save. One massive perk is that whenever you spend money, you will earn points. These points can be redeemed against products you purchase later on, giving you large discounts. Keep an eye out throughout the year as there are weeks where these points will be doubled when you make a purchase.
Not only that, but membership also gives you exclusive discounts, early access to sales and new sets, limited time gifts and discounts on Legoland tickets. The programme is free to join and available to anyone.
If you're planning on a big order, then you should pay attention to the amount you spend. LEGO gives free standard delivery on qualifying orders. Returns are also free of charge if you change your mind or are not satisfied with the set.
LEGO Black Friday and Cyber Monday: the event of the year
One of the biggest sale days of the year, Black Friday is now a global phenomenon. It originated in the US and because of this, is linked to US Thanksgiving. In fact, Black Friday is the day directly after Thanksgiving (which takes place on the third Thursday of November). As such, it's an easy day to remember, especially as more and more retailers around the world take part in this event.
Cyber Monday was quick to rise in popularity as well. A day where discounts are geared toward software, electricals and technology products, it occurs on the following Monday after Black Friday. These days though, the two days are not that separate. Many retailers simply start their sales on Black Friday, running them through the weekend to finish on Cyber Monday.
LEGO, being such an international company, takes part in Black Friday. However, there are other days during the year when you can expect massive sales. In particular, these revolve around LEGO lines such as Star Wars, where the 4th of May is a big day of sales for these products. The company also has massive sales in July and November as well as offering regular discounts on sets throughout the year.
