Common problems when applying a Tire Rack discount code

When applying the Tire Rack promotion code at checkout, it might not immediately work. The first cause of issues during the activation is to mistype the discount code itself. If there are any wrong letters or numbers in it, as well as spaces that are not needed, the website won’t recognize the Tirerack.com exclusive code. Apply the needed corrections and try again.

Another very common problem is activating a Tire Rack promotional code that has expired. The store will warn you that you cannot use it anymore and suggest you search for another coupon code, as that’s the only solution to this issue.

Don’t forget about the requirements that apply to each Tirerack.com coupon code. Some of them will force you to add select products into your cart. Others are going to activate only when you spend a minimum amount at checkout. Read them carefully inside the promotion’s page or the T&C screen to know everything you need to do.

Manufacturer rebates: how it can beat a Tire Rack code

Among the most common saving mechanisms available at Tire Rack are manufacturer rebates. These promotions don’t include money-off discounts at checkout, but are rather cashback initiatives promoted by specific tire manufacturers.

Usually, they involve a minimum purchase of a set of 4 tires from a given manufacturer (for example, Goodyear, Pirelli, Dunlop, Bridgestone or others) within a specific time period. After the purchase, the customer must submit the claim on the manufacturer’s website, attaching proof of purchase. After verification, the customer will receive the promised amount of money back directly from the manufacturer.

The mechanism is different from the one of Instant Savings, which offers an immediate discount at the cart when purchasing select tires from Tire Rack’s in-stock inventory.

Delivery and return policy

Does Tire Rack offer free shipping? Luckily for you, yes. The only thing you need to do to get Tire Rack free shipping is to spend at least $50 on your order. Depending on your location, your delivery should take 1 or 2 business days. Alternatively, you can pick up your order in store.

After you receive your package, there is a 30-day window for returns. However, only new, unused and not driven tires and wheels can be returned. If there is damage or you need an exchange, contact Customer Care immediately.

If you pick up your order in-store, you must return it immediately or on the same day to avoid the usual return inspection that takes place before the refund.

When you return tires or wheels, you will receive a full refund (except freight charges). For Wheel & Tire packages, there will also be a $60 labor charge for dismount. Special order items, on the other hand, cannot be returned.

Gift certificates: when they help and what to double-check

To budget future orders or take care of the new ties of friends and family, you can purchase a Tire Rack gift certificate, both in paper and electronic. While electronic gift certificates should arrive within 24-48 hours from the moment of purchase, physical ones can take 3 to 5 days to be delivered.

You can purchase up to 5 gift certificates in the same order, although physical ones must be sent out to the same address when ordered together.

Redeeming them is extremely easy: when you’re prompted to enter your payment details at checkout, you’ll see a dedicated box where you can type in the Tire Rack gift certificate code. This is not a discount but a payment method: if your total is higher than the amount of money on the gift certificate, you must also choose another payment solution.
