How to enter a Fiverr promo code

Fiverr requires a registered account to place an order. Open the Gig for the service you need and review the available package or quantity. The payment instructions use “Continue” to move through order customization and on to payment. Some Gigs display “Request to order” instead and require the freelancer's approval before you can buy.

1. Choose the work you want included and review any extras. Increasing the quantity does not automatically extend the delivery deadline, so resolve a larger project's timing with the freelancer before paying.
2. Proceed to the payment step. Fiverr's instructions place the code entry in “Summary.” Depending on the layout, you could see an “Enter promo code” label beneath the service summary on the right; opening it could reveal the text field.
3. Paste your Fiverr coupon code and select “Apply,” as directed in the help article. Check the discount in the price breakdown. Entering the text without applying it does not attach the promotion to the order.
4. Review billing details, taxes and fees before selecting “Confirm & Pay.” A promo code must be applied before payment is completed; it cannot be added afterward to an order already placed.

These freelancer coupons belong to the named recipient. For a Pro account, the team member who placed the qualifying order can use the coupon; other members of the same team cannot borrow it. Coupons cannot pay for tips. On milestone orders they reduce only the first milestone, and on subscription orders only the first payment. They cannot be combined with Fiverr Credits, manual promo codes, first-time client promotions or another discount.

A freelancer's first-time client promotion is shown in a Gig-page pop-up with its terms and cannot be combined with other discounts. The available saving appears under “Choose your plan.” A subscription arranged through a custom offer does not have that subscription discount, even though the custom arrangement can provide different scheduling intervals.

Each subscription order is independent, and the next one can start even if the previous delivery has not been completed. You can update requirements with the freelancer, who can charge for additional work. Review the next order's scope and payment details instead of assuming that the original arrangement covers every later change.

Future subscription orders can be canceled before their payment is made. Once an order has been paid for, the normal cancellation policy applies to that order. The milestone feature and subscriptions cannot be used together in a single order; they are different ways of organizing a project, not settings that can simply be combined.

Include service fees and any physical delivery in the total

Fiverr's standard service fee is 5.5% of the purchase amount, with an additional $3.50 for orders below $200. Every separate payment has its own fee, including a later extra or tip. Read the charge before approving it. If a particular promotion expressly waives a fee, use that promotion's terms; a price reduction on a Gig does not by itself establish a fee waiver.

Promotional Fiverr Credits are different from the Fiverr Balance created by a canceled order. Credits are non-cash and cannot be withdrawn or refunded to a bank or card.
