Office Depot Coupon Code valid in October 2026

At Office Depot, coupon savings and gift offers work differently: one reduces an eligible purchase, while the other requires qualifying products or a minimum spend to receive an item or gift card. Rewards add another distinction: they are issued as certificates for later purchases and cannot be cashed out. Before choosing an Office Depot coupon code for paper, school supplies or a printing order, check which kind of benefit the offer provides.

Fall supplies and printing offers

Fall 2026: back-to-school supplies share the Office Depot storefront with office restocking and printing services. The offers take several forms: product markdowns, buy-one-get-one promotions, gifts tied to a qualifying purchase and coupon savings on printing. A printing promotion can have its own ordering channel and exclusions, separate from a coupon for physical supplies.

These campaigns have individual end dates, and gift availability also depends on stock. Use the cards at the top to open the offer you want before building an order around it. Check the eligible selection, how the benefit is delivered and the redemption deadline together; a gift with purchase and a reduction in the cart are not the same transaction.

How to apply an Office Depot promo code

Office Depot's coupon terms direct online shoppers to enter their code in the cart during checkout. For an online offer, follow this sequence:

1. Select the required products and quantities, or configure the printing service named in the promotion, and add them to the cart. Adding an item opens a cart panel that links through to the full cart page.
2. On the cart page, look for the coupon field near the estimated total. Copy the code from its offer, enter it there and confirm it. Check the characters if you type it manually.
3. Confirm that the expected coupon reduction appears in the order total before paying. If it does not, review the conditions below before placing the order.

Why an Office Depot discount code may not apply

Start with the offer's expiration and product restrictions. Under Office Depot's general coupon terms, a minimum purchase is calculated after discounts and before tax. Unless an offer states otherwise, the general exclusions for dollar-off and percentage-off coupons that require a qualifying minimum purchase include categories such as technology, furniture, ink and toner. A cart's overall value alone does not establish eligibility.

Customer eligibility and ordering channel can matter too. Read the individual promotion's rules rather than assuming that an email offer is available to every account or that an in-store coupon also works online. The general terms exclude online coupon redemption in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Offers also specify their expiration time; the general terms use Eastern Time.

What each offer changes

The Office Depot Deals page includes discounted products, clearance items and gift promotions alongside coupons. Separate the purchase price from any benefit delivered afterward:

How Office Depot Rewards are earned and used

Office Depot describes Office Depot OfficeMax Rewards as a free program. Its standard earning rate is 2% on qualifying purchases. Exclusions include marketplace purchases, delivery fees, postage and gift cards. Rewards are calculated on the qualifying amount after discounts and before tax. Purchases paid with Rewards certificates do not earn new Rewards on that portion.

Approved product reviews and eligible ink or toner cartridge recycling are additional earning routes. Each has a monthly limit, and recycling requires a qualifying purchase in the same calendar month. The program issues purchase Rewards in monthly certificates once its issuance threshold is reached; bonus Rewards have their own posting terms. Certificates can be redeemed at Office Depot and OfficeMax stores or through Office Depot's online and phone ordering channels.

VIP benefits require qualifying annual spending, rather than simply opening an account. Business Select is a separate program, and its members are not eligible for Office Depot OfficeMax Rewards. Keep that distinction in mind when reading member prices and Rewards offers.

Email offers and verified-member benefits

Office Depot's email signup page offers a qualifying-purchase promotion and sends deal alerts, exclusive coupons and product news. Read the signup offer's exclusions before relying on it for an order; it is not an unrestricted discount on a first purchase. The official homepage also links to the mobile app and social accounts. Use those links to reach the merchant's channels, and check each promotion's terms for where it can be redeemed.

The merchant has dedicated benefits for teachers and eligible military members and families. These pages describe ID.me verification and account requirements for access to the relevant offers. Verification establishes eligibility for the offer; product restrictions still apply.

Shipping costs depend on the order and address

Office Depot offers free delivery on qualifying orders, with different conditions for the contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territories. Furniture, oversized items and special orders can fall outside standard free-delivery offers. Custom printing has separate delivery conditions. Check the delivery policy for your destination and review the shipping charge with your order; a coupon does not establish that delivery is free.

Store pickup is offered for eligible items. Availability depends on the item and location, so check the pickup option for the actual products you need rather than assuming that a complete cart can be collected together.
