Rugs Direct Promo Code valid in October 2026

Rugs Direct cuts rug prices through sales and closeout markdowns. Browse the cards at the top for current coupons and rug deals.

This guide was last reviewed in fall 2026. The live coupons and prices listed above are updated automatically and take precedence over any example described in this guide.

Using a Rugs Direct promo code

Add the rugs you want to your cart and open “View Cart”. Enter your code in the “Add Promo Code” field.

Select “Apply” to apply the code and see the eligible savings in the cart. Before continuing to checkout, review the cart total after applying the code.

Coupon eligibility and expiration

Coupon codes expire; codes sent by email or SMS show their expiration date in the fine print.

If a code sets a minimum purchase, the cart needs to meet that amount. Removing an item could then put the cart below that qualifying spend. A code may be limited to particular products or categories.

Email and text-signup offers

The email-signup offer provides a discount code sent by email. If that signup code does not arrive, check your junk or spam folder and mark the email “Not spam”.

Text-message signup offers a discount on area-rug purchases, in any size or quantity.

Sale rugs, closeouts and brand rebates

The Sale, Closeouts and Best Deals by Brand sections feature discounted rugs. Closeouts include one-of-a-kind rugs at deep discounts. Some brands offer rebates available only through Rugs Direct.

The promotions page features limited-time sales and brand-specific discounts.

The Rugs Direct price-match guarantee

Under the price-match guarantee, Rugs Direct matches a verified lower price on an identical item and deducts another 10% of the price difference. Request the match before placing your order; it cannot be honored after the order has been processed.

The item must match the brand, item number, pattern, material, size, shape and color of the rug sold by Rugs Direct. The competing price must be verifiable at the time of purchase.

Competing products that are factory seconds, off-quality, clearance or closeout items are excluded. Out-of-stock and backordered items are also excluded from price matching. Membership prices and prices reduced through competitor promo codes, rebates or gift-card promotions do not qualify either.

Taxes and other applicable fees still apply to a price-matched order.

Shipping charges and oversized rugs

Standard shipping is free to addresses in the contiguous United States. Orders to Alaska and Hawaii incur additional shipping and handling fees, calculated and shown at checkout.

An additional fee is calculated in the cart for oversized rugs requiring a surcharge above standard shipping or freight rates. A processing fee can appear in the cart; orders shipped to California may be exempt, with that fee removed at checkout.

Some oversized rugs travel by freight rather than parcel delivery. Inside delivery, liftgate service or other extra assistance may carry additional charges. Contact Rugs Direct before adding those extra freight services.

Rugs Direct requires a physical shipping address and does not accept P.O. boxes or APO boxes.

Standard returns and rug samples

Eligible rugs have a return window starting on delivery. Customers pay standard return shipping and use their chosen carrier. Return-shipping rates may vary with the rug's size, distance, fuel surcharges and current freight conditions, particularly for oversized items. The item must be in its original condition and packaging to qualify for return.

Samples, custom rugs, made-to-order items, one-of-a-kind rugs, clearance and closeout items, opened rug pads, and items marked “Final Sale” are final sale. Some pillows, poufs or other accessories are also final sale.

Rug samples and swatches are available on select products, subject to manufacturer availability. The standard sample offer credits the sample's full purchase price when you later buy a rug from the same collection that meets the minimum-size requirement. Only one sample can be credited per item.

Trade members receive free returns on most eligible items; exclusions may include custom-made, made-to-order, final-sale, oversized or manufacturer-restricted products.
