Steep and Cheap savings in fall 2026

For fall 2026, the sale catalog spans rainwear, insulated clothing, camping equipment and ski and snowboard gear. The store separates clearance collections from shopping by activity, brand and price. The New Customer Coupon Rules describe a first-order offer for email subscribers, with product exclusions.

Offers reviewed in fall 2026. Markdown offers and coupon promotions provide different ways to save: one starts with the listed sale price, while the other depends on a qualifying code.

Sale and clearance collections

The store groups discounted gear into All Clearance, Last Chance Clearance and Bargain Bin. Its navigation also separates men's, women's and kids' clearance, deeper-discount collections and shopping by price. Steep and Cheap may also run an all-items sale collection and a select-item free-shipping collection.

The Current Steal$ page features weekly deals across clothing, footwear and gear. Steep and Cheap's Current Steal$ offers may feature especially deep discounts with limited availability, stock that can sell out and prices that may rise again when a promotion ends.

Using a Steep and Cheap coupon code

The New Customer Coupon Rules offer a first-order discount to Steep and Cheap email subscribers on eligible cart items, for a limited time and subject to stock on hand. The offer is nontransferable, has no cash value, is limited to one use per customer and three units per style, and cannot be combined with another discount or offer; only one coupon code can be applied to an order, with the latest code taking precedence.

The offer excludes special orders, package discounts, gift certificates, passes and lift tickets, Whitespace products, and certain manufacturer-restricted items including bikes and frames, digital cameras, GPS-equipped items, personal locator beacons, strollers, ski and snowboard equipment, airbag packs, fishing gear and watercraft; further brand, product, style, size and color exclusions may apply.

A Steep and Cheap discount code may be applied during checkout to qualifying products. A Steep and Cheap voucher code may cover a designated selection of styles. A cart containing an eligible full-price item and an excluded clearance item may receive a discount on the qualifying item.

Shipping costs and dispatch

Under Steep and Cheap's Shipping Policy, orders placed before the dispatch cutoff generally ship that day; weekend and recognized-holiday orders generally ship the next business day. The Shipping Policy treats delivery times as estimates that may change with order volume, weather and other circumstances, with different timelines for standard and economy shipping.

The Shipping Policy says free-shipping offers may require an advertised order minimum, calculated after promotions or credits and excluding taxes and other fees; those offers may change or end without notice. The Shipping Policy's estimated timelines and free-shipping offers exclude PO boxes and APO addresses, preorders and back orders, shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, international destinations and U.S. territories, and oversized, hazardous or flammable products that require ground or freight shipping, as identified on the product page.

Price matching after purchase

The Sales Policy offers a price match for an identical item in new condition, including the same size, color and year, currently listed on a U.S.-based non-auction retailer's website. The Sales Policy's price-match service is available through a Gearhead before ordering; for an already-purchased item, that policy sets a short post-order window for requesting a card credit for the difference.

The Sales Policy's separate Sale Price Guarantee provides a credit when Steep and Cheap lowers a price during the limited post-purchase period, provided the same size and color originally purchased are still in stock. A competing retailer's price and a markdown by Steep and Cheap fall under different protections in the Sales Policy.

Price alerts and order lookup

Steep and Cheap's Price Alerts instructions describe product-page signup to receive an email when that item's price, or the price of an item in your cart, drops; the items covered by the alerts may sell out. The Help Center links Price Alerts to the saved-items area, where the cart page describes saving products with an account and accessing them from another computer.

The Order Status page lets you look up an order using its number and the email address used for the purchase, with the option to log in to an account for full order history. Steep and Cheap's order lookup may also provide shipping updates. The Help Center links to returns, shipping policies, order history and payment help.
