Where to enter the discount code

First things first: Discoup isn't a shop. We provide the discount codes, vouchers, and offers, and then you are redirected to the retailer's website. You apply the code in the retailer's basket or at checkout, not on Discoup.

1. Open the offer and read the "Details" and "Expires" sections.
2. Click "Get Code" to copy the voucher, or "Get Offer" if the discount is applied automatically.
3. Click "Continue to site" and add your items to your basket.
4. At checkout, look for a box labelled "Discount Code / Promo Code / Voucher", paste it in, and click "Apply". The discount must appear in your order summary before you pay.

On mobile, this box might be hidden in the final order summary within a drop-down section like "Voucher / Discount Code". If you can't see it right away, make sure to check there.

Discount Code vs. Automatic Offer

A lot of people get stuck here. The main thing to remember is simple: not all promos require a code that you have to paste. Some activate automatically via a link.

Why your voucher is being rejected

If a discount code isn't applied, it's not always a glitch. The retailer's checkout system is simply enforcing specific rules and restrictions. The quickest way to figure it out is to read the error message and understand the issue.

1. Cannot be used alongside other offers. If you already have an active promo or sale items in your basket, retailers often won't let you add another voucher. Try it with a basket containing only full-price items.
2. Minimum spend. The minimum threshold might apply only to the eligible subtotal, not the final total you're looking at. Add an item that is definitely eligible and try applying the code again.
3. Excluded items or account restrictions. Clearance, "already discounted" items, excluded categories, app-only deals, new customers only, or requiring a login: if it's in the small print, the checkout system will block the voucher even if you've copied it perfectly.
