How to apply a Tommy Hilfiger promo code?

Once you've started shopping at Tommy Hilfiger and begun adding items to your basket, you may think about how to add your promo code. After the item has been added to your bag (you will get a pop-up briefly to show you it's been added), you can then head to your bag by clicking on the icon in the upper right of the screen.

A full window appears showing your entire order. On the right, you will see an overview of your order including the subtotal and shipping costs. Below this is a 'Got a promo code?' header and a box right below. Copy your chosen Tommy Hilfiger voucher code and paste it into this box. Click 'apply' and it will be added to your order. The price will change to show this. You can then click the black 'proceed to checkout' button where you will need to provide your personal details, shipping address and payment method to complete the order.

If the Tommy Hilfiger code doesn't work, check whether you have input it correctly. Only one promo code can be used per order. Finally, make sure the items in your bag are eligible for the discount by checking the terms and conditions.

Who is Tommy Hilfiger?

Tommy Hilfiger is an American luxury clothing brand. It designs and manufactures clothing, footwear, accessories, fragrances and home furnishings. The company was founded by Tommy Hilfiger, hence the name, back in 1985, though Hilfiger's fashion career began long before this. In fact, it began in 1968 when he founded a clothing store, People's Place, in New York. This expanded to become a chain before going bankrupt.

In 1979, Hilfiger moved to NYC to start a fashion designer career. He got backing for this and featured his first collection in the early 1980s. Follow this, the brand and clothing line was developed, going viral in a high-profile marketing campaign. The newly created brand went public in 1992, leaving its original Murjani International backing. And, after initially starting out with only menswear, it branched out to include women's clothes as well.

In the following years, Tommy Hilfiger stores began popping up throughout the US as the clothing style became increasingly popular. Many celebrities began wearing the brand and when Snoop Dogg wore a sweater on Saturday Night Live, the item became sold out by the next day. Over the years, the brand has continued to expand both men's and women's clothing lines. Impressively, in 2021, Tommy Hilfiger released their first genderless collection and has removed all animal products from their collections in line with current sentiments.

What can you buy on Tommy Hilfiger?

As mentioned, Tommy Hilfiger has clothing lines for both men and women. The brand also has a section for kids. Within these three areas, you can find a wealth of different types of clothing. For women, you can shop for knitwear, lingerie, dresses, hoodies, shirts, blouses, wool coats, blazers, trousers shorts, skirts and more. Importantly, there are other collections within these including Curve Fashion, Extended Sizes, Sport and Adaptive options.

For men, the options are similar and include shirts, bomber jackets, polo shirts, jeans, suits, tracksuits, knitwear and more. The options for kids are also along the same lines. However, for children, three sub-categories are created including babies, girls and boys.

For all sections, it's possible to shop for shoes. This collection includes boots, Chelsea boots, flats, ballerina, loafers, sandals, heels and moccasins. A section for accessories is available as well and includes bags, caps, beanies, gloves, scarves, belts, watches, sunglasses, jewellery, fragrances and wallets.

Tommy Hilfiger discounts: offers and vouchers to save your money

Saving money on Tommy Hilfiger is surprisingly easy, if you know where to look that is. Many of these options should be implemented before you start shopping in order to make the most of it. For instance, you can join Tommy Together. This is the membership programme provided by the brand. It's free to join and newly signed-up members get money off their first purchase. Additionally, being a member means getting access to member exclusives, new products, early sales, better offers, members' week and a Tommy Hilfiger membership discount.

It's also worth noting that the larger the order, the more you can save. When you meet the minimum spend threshold, you can save money with the free delivery. If your order doesn't meet the minimum, you will have to pay shipping which can add up over the long run. Should you be unhappy with your item, you can claim a full refund when you use the free returns option. However, this is only applicable to a full return, not a partial return where the shipping cost will not be returned.

There are no key worker or student discounts listed at this time. However, these could be added in the future.

Tommy Hilfiger Black Friday and Cyber Monday: the event of the year

One of the biggest sale days of the year, Black Friday remains a popular day for reductions for many retailers around the world. Similarly, Cyber Monday sees massive price drops for many items, though typically these are linked to electronic or software items.

Being an US brand, it's no surprise to find that Tommy Hilfiger participates, to a degree, in Black Friday. While sale items are not as massive as other brands, there are still discounts on older collections provided. Additionally, Tommy Hilfiger also offers discounts throughout the rest of the year as well. Many of these coincide with the release of a new collection, or a major holiday. This means it's worth checking out the brand around Boxing Day, New Year's Day and other key UK holidays during the year.
