MPB Promo Code valid in October 2026

A camera upgrade at MPB starts with used gear: its buying guide describes lower prices for used photo and video equipment. Each item has its own photos and cosmetic-condition details. You can buy equipment, sell gear to MPB or arrange a trade. The offers listed above include discounts on purchases and promotions for specific groups of customers.

This guide was last reviewed in fall 2026. The live coupons and prices listed above are updated automatically and take precedence over any example described in this guide.

Used gear in fall 2026

Updated for fall 2026. In fall 2026, the MPB catalog includes used cameras, lenses and accessories in a range of cosmetic conditions. The listings show individual units, with photos and descriptions of their condition. For a selling quote, you enter the model and your estimate of its cosmetic condition. MPB uses its Re.Value pricing engine to set prices for buying and selling.

The Promos page brings together occupation-based discounts and the refer-a-friend program. The catalog also has a Just Added selection, while the home page offers a sign-up for news and reviews.

How MPB codes differ

MPB's special-discount guide covers codes that reduce the price when you buy or increase your quote when you sell. Students and college or university staff need an active U.S. college or university email address, verified through GoCertify. The verification step may ask you to sign in with an email address or a phone number. The essential-worker categories include U.S. healthcare, education, care work, social work and government staff, first responders, and active-duty military personnel, veterans and retirees.

For a trade, these codes apply only to the gear you sell, rather than the equipment you buy as part of that trade.

Using an MPB discount code

MPB's discount guide says to enter a buying code at checkout and a selling code when submitting a quote. Its checkout guide describes guest checkout or signing into an account after adding your chosen equipment to the cart. The same guide then takes you through personal details, billing and shipping information, optional product protection and payment. An order may be limited to one MPB code.

Referring a new MPB buyer

According to MPB's referral guide, a previous buyer can refer a friend who is new to the platform. The friend receives a discount on a qualifying first purchase that meets a minimum order value; after that order is complete, the referrer receives a code by email for a later purchase. The guide tells the friend to enter the referrer's full name and email address at checkout. According to the program's guide, the referrer's code is valid for 14 days.

Referral discounts are for buying, and the program excludes selling and trading transactions. A previous sale or quote can affect the friend's eligibility. For an unfinished quote or order, the guide says customer support may be able to apply the referral discount.

Real-time prices, a 2021 discount and tree pledges: MPB's Black Friday seasons from 2021 to 2025

MPB's 2021 Cyber November offer took 10% off selected gear until Cyber Monday, November 29, 2021. In November 2021, MPB also teamed up with a reforestation partner to plant 25,000 trees. In November 2023, including Black Friday and Cyber Monday, MPB pledged to plant a tree each time a customer bought, sold or traded gear. In 2024, the pledge ran through November and December with a ceiling of 20,000 trees for the year, covering purchases, sales and trades made before January 1, 2025.

For Black Friday and Cyber Week 2025, MPB said it was not running holiday sales because it offers real-time prices all year, and it pointed customers to trading in their gear to help pay for an upgrade.

MPB shipping

According to MPB's shipping guide, purchases without a trade-in qualify for free No-Hurry delivery by FedEx Ground within the contiguous United States. Expedited services are limited to the contiguous states and cost extra. Alaska and Hawaii shipments use FedEx Express and carry an additional charge; international delivery is available to many countries, with charges based on the destination. The shipping guide says the delivery estimate appears at checkout.
