MERIT Discount Code valid in October 2026

A MERIT order usually starts with one product and grows from there: a complexion stick, then the cheek balm that goes with it, then the brush to blend them. Bought one by one, those three products each carry a single figure, and the total comes down somewhere else. The first place is the price MERIT prints on a set, which the Sets collection shows next to what the same products cost separately. The second is the cart, where a gift or free delivery attaches itself once an order passes a published total. Neither of them waits for a code.

This guide was last reviewed in September 2026. The live coupons and prices listed above are updated automatically and take precedence over any example described in this guide.

How the MERIT list reads in September 2026

This month the board is built from set prices and order-total gifts, and that decides what you should be scanning for. A row that names a kit is telling you the reduction already sits on the listing. A row that names an order value is telling you the reward appears in the cart as soon as the order total reaches it. Neither kind asks you to type anything at the moment of paying.

The consequence is practical. Where the saving is built into a price, the comparison that counts is not against another offer but against what those same products cost bought separately, and MERIT publishes both figures itself. Where the saving is a gift, the comparison is against whatever else is running, because the brand's own terms treat a gift as an alternative to any other promotion and never as something you add on top.

Free delivery belongs to a third group again. MERIT already publishes an order total above which standard shipping inside the United States costs nothing, so a delivery row earns its place on a small order and matters less as the order grows.

What each row on the board is actually offering:

• $30 off the Five Minute Morning — the whole five-step morning lineup, priced as one kit — no code to copy, the price is cut where it is printed — the first of these rows to run out, so read its card date before the others.
• A free cap on orders over $100 — the gift attaches in the cart, no code involved — one per person or household while supplies last, with two separate limits on the card: the free item cannot be returned or exchanged, and the promotion cannot be combined with another — closes about a week behind the row above it.
• Free shipping on the linked selection — the card says in as many words that no code is required — scoped to the collection the offer points at and not to the whole catalog, which is what separates it from the standing delivery threshold — holds a few days longer than the cap.
• 20% off the Brow Duo — one named pairing from the brow lineup — the card carries the percentage and states no condition beyond the product it names — sits later than the three rows above it on the same board.
• 15% off The Great Skin Trio — the three-step skincare routine bought as a single kit — the kit price carries the cut by itself — the longest runway of these five rows, reaching the turn of the year.

Rows read against the cards live on this page in September 2026.

Three calls that decide the total

The decisions that move a MERIT total all happen before the payment step, and none of the three is about hunting for a string of characters.

Is the set really cheaper for you? MERIT has already done the arithmetic, because the Sets collection prints a kit price beside what the contents of that kit cost on their own. What the listing cannot tell you is whether you wanted all of them. A kit you use two thirds of stops being a saving, and there is a second reason to be sure, which the returns paragraph below covers.

Is it better to wait for a code? On this brand, usually not. The reductions the list carries sit on listings and in the cart, and MERIT's own terms say a gift with purchase appears as soon as the order reaches the stated total. Holding off costs you the offer that is running now and buys you one nobody has published yet.

Does pushing the cart up to a threshold pay? Only when the thing you add is something you were buying anyway. MERIT states that the free item cannot be returned or exchanged, and separately that the offer itself does not combine with another promotion, so the choice is between the gift and whatever else is live, never both.

Why a set undercuts its own pieces

MERIT builds its catalog around a short routine, and the sets follow the same logic: a duo for brows, a trio for skin, a collection that covers a whole morning. On the Sets collection a kit carries two prices, the total of its contents and the price of the kit, so the reduction is visible before anything reaches a bag and asks nothing of you at all.

That steadiness comes with a condition at the other end, and the refund policy spells it out. MERIT states that it cannot accept returns for products sold as part of a set, and that if you would like to keep some of the products it will exchange the rest for an item of equal or lesser value. Read the contents list before you read the price.

The bigger kits deserve that reading twice. A collection carrying a complexion stick, a cheek product, a lip product and a brush is a decision about a whole routine, and MERIT presents it that way on the product page. If two of those steps repeat something already on your shelf, the arithmetic on the listing has stopped being yours.

The order totals that add something

MERIT keeps the rules of its gift with purchase inside its terms and conditions page, not on a banner. The passage is written for customers in the United States, names an order value on meritbeauty.com above which the giveaway applies, and states that the gift shows in the cart automatically once that threshold is reached. Nothing is entered and nothing is claimed.

The conditions around it are the part that changes a decision. The same passage limits the gift to one per person or household, makes it available only while supplies last, states that the free item is not eligible for return or exchange, and rules out both earlier purchases and any combination with another promotion. That last clause is why a gift and a code behave as alternatives on this site.

Delivery runs on the same principle. The shipping page carries a table by region, and for the United States it names an order total above which standard delivery costs nothing and below which it is charged, with the expedited service charged either way. A first order carries one thing free of any threshold: MERIT states that every first order from meritbeauty.com ships with the Signature Bag included, and that later orders travel in Green Cell Foam, a cornstarch derivative you can dissolve in water or compost.

Where the package is allowed to go is a separate matter. MERIT ships to the continental United States along with Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico, warns that some of those take longer, and states that it does not accept orders sent to post office boxes or freight forwarders. Its fragrance moves by ground service only, so an order containing it cannot be expedited at all.

What MERIT does with a sale

The question people ask about this brand is whether it ever goes on sale at all, and the site answers it without much ceremony. The sale address the site still publishes leads to its Black Friday and Cyber Monday collection. When this page was reviewed, that collection opened with a line saying the sale had ended.

What stays on it between events is the useful part. The listings there carrying a struck-through price were all sets, and no single product carried one, which makes the sale page a second view of the same set pricing and not a separate discount. Sale season, on this evidence, is when the singles join in, and outside it the kits are doing the work on their own.

Points, levels and the gifts they open

MERIT runs a loyalty program of its own, and its loyalty answers page states that the program is open in the United States and Canada. Joining means creating an account and then spending; the same page puts the earn rate at one point per dollar and adds that sharing a birthday earns points too. Points expire twelve months after the day they were earned, so this rewards a routine and not one large order.

Above the points sit three levels, and a level lasts twelve months from the moment it is reached. Earn less than the level requires inside that window and the status drops a step. From the second level upward MERIT adds an anniversary gift, paid a year after the account was created and then annually while the level holds, and a birthday gift arrives on the day itself unless the birthday falls within thirty days of you sharing it, in which case it waits for the following year.

The redemption rules are strict enough to plan around. A loyalty gift only goes through alongside at least one purchased item, and one gift is allowed per order. Points do not transfer between accounts, are not awarded on purchases made before you signed up, and come off the balance again if an order is canceled or refunded. The gifts themselves cannot be returned or exchanged for another product.

Discoup points are a separate matter, and this brand is on the list that pays them. They belong to us, they sit outside everything described above, and collecting them changes nothing about the way a MERIT loyalty account behaves.

When a MERIT code does not take

Start with the cart and not with the code. Asked directly whether more than one discount code can be used at a time, MERIT answers that discount codes cannot be combined or stacked on a single order, and the gift with purchase terms rule out any combination with another promotion. An order that is already carrying something will refuse the next thing by design.

A MERIT code that does need typing goes into the discount field on the way to payment, and the total redraws once the code has been accepted. If it is refused there, the usual explanations are the two above, a window that has closed, or a scope narrower than the cart: several of the offers listed above attach to one named kit or one linked collection and leave the rest of the shelf alone.

One route this brand does not publish is a student rate. Its own site search returns products and nothing else for that word, and the addresses where a student page would sit return nothing at all. A student price advertised for MERIT somewhere else therefore has no MERIT page behind it to check the conditions against.
