Prices on StockX are set by the people buying and selling, not by a store, so two shoppers can pay very different amounts for the same pair on the same afternoon. A code is only one of the levers you have: a StockX discount code trims the item price at checkout, while the Deals hub, a patient Offer, and the delivery option you pick decide the rest of what you actually pay. Whatever StockX is running today sits in the cards above this text, and the guide below explains what each lever is worth once the fees land.
Editorial text checked and reviewed in August 2026 using StockX help center articles as the source. The coupon cards above refresh automatically and always take precedence over the text below.

StockX discount codes: where September 2026 stands
We went back through the StockX cards on this page in September 2026. Most of the codes in circulation take a set number of dollars off rather than a percentage, and a couple of them only work if you pay through a specific pay-over-time provider. The deepest percentage cuts sit on the cards that have nothing to paste.
That split is the thing to act on. StockX runs a permanent deals hub that groups items priced below their retail figure by category, and it needs no code at all. When the code you found is worth a fixed handful of dollars and the listing you want is already marked down, the hub is the better opening move.
What we checked on the cards in September 2026
- $10 off any order — discount code — the card puts it on all orders, and the code goes in at checkout — the card above carries the closing date
- $50 off your first handbag — sign-up offer, no code shown on the card — new accounts only, and the card notes the code expires 14 days after account activation — check the card for the last day it runs
- $20 off apparel — discount code — the card ties it to an apparel purchase rather than the whole catalog — the end date is printed on the card itself
- Up to 70% off clearance — offer, no code needed — select styles and discontinued apparel in the clearance section — the card says when it stops
- $10 off orders over $125 — discount code tied to a payment method — you have to choose Affirm at checkout, and the card notes that restrictions apply — the expiration date is shown on the card
- $10 off a Listings order — discount code — limited to Listings, the used and one-of-a-kind part of the marketplace — the card above states the deadline
Why the card decides and not this text. Every StockX listing is somebody's Ask, so the price behind a card can move while the card is still live, and a code that clears on one listing may be worthless on another. Only the card itself gets refreshed as promotions rotate; the list above is the state of play on the day we checked it.
The mistake to avoid this month. Chasing a threshold code by adding a second item is how a discount turns into a loss on StockX, because buyer fees on the Verified Marketplace are dynamic and each extra item carries its own shipping weight. Work out the total with the second item in the basket first, then decide whether the code is still doing you a favor.
The next window to watch. Fall drops and the run-up to the holiday season are when the deals hub is restocked hardest and when email codes tend to reappear; if nothing on the cards fits your size today, that is the stretch worth setting a reminder for rather than buying at a price you do not like.
Three questions worth answering before you buy this month
Which kind of code is actually circulating right now? Fixed-dollar codes dominate the current batch, some sitewide and some gated behind a spending threshold. Percentage cuts this month are living mostly in the no-code deals rather than in the code cards.
Buy now, or place an Offer and wait? If the size you want has been sitting unsold and you are not tied to a date, an Offer costs you nothing but patience, and you can set how long it stays alive. If the item is moving fast, a live code plus Buy Now is the safer play, because someone else can take the listing while you deliberate.
What should you check before the month closes? Two things: the expiration date printed on the card you picked, and whether the item still qualifies. Codes here are issued with a stated expiration date, and the deals hub refreshes on its own schedule, so a card that looked generous two weeks ago may already have been replaced by a different one.
Applying your StockX code at checkout
StockX documents the path itself, and it is short. Sign in to your account or create one, open the item you want and select Buy. On the checkout screen, select Add next to the Discount Code field, type your code and select Apply. The total updates before you confirm. That is the moment to check the code did what you expected, not after the order has gone through.

You can also buy without an account. Guest Checkout covers new, unworn items from the Verified Marketplace, and StockX lists promotional discount codes as eligible for it. Three trade-offs come with that route: guests can use Buy Now but cannot place an Offer, gift cards are excluded, and it works on desktop and mobile web only.
One habit saves more orders than any code. Because listings are individual, somebody else can take the size you are looking at while you are still typing, so line up the code first and complete the order in one sitting.
Where StockX promo codes actually come from
This is the part most lists get wrong, so it is worth stating plainly. StockX says its promotional codes are offered through three routes: email, influencer partnerships, and social media. That is the documented list, and every code that genuinely works traces back to one of those three or to a partner running an official promotion.
Two practical consequences follow. First, an account with email notifications turned on is the closest thing to a standing subscription to StockX codes, because that is a channel the platform names itself. Second, every code carries an expiration date that is supplied along with the code, which is why a string harvested from a comment thread months ago almost never clears.
A note on first orders, because it is the single most searched savings question for this retailer. StockX does not publish a standing first-purchase code in its help center. What exists instead are the rotating promotions above, and the live cards on this page are where they surface. Anyone promising you a permanent new-customer string is describing something the platform does not document.
When a StockX coupon code refuses to work
Most failures are mechanical rather than mysterious. A stray space picked up while copying, a swapped character or a stray capital will stop a code from validating, so re-read the string against the source before you assume it is dead.
The second cause is timing. Codes here are issued with an expiration date attached, and once that date passes the checkout simply refuses the string. Note the expiration date when you pick the code up, then plan the order around it instead of the other way around.
The third cause is scope. Terms attached to a promotion can restrict it to certain categories, certain listings or a certain payment method at checkout, and none of that is visible from the code itself. Reading the conditions on the card takes a few seconds and explains most of the remaining refusals.
Why your total comes out above the item price
A code discounts the item, not the invoice, and on a marketplace that gap is wider than in a normal shop. On the Verified Marketplace, buyers pay processing fees that StockX describes as dynamic, calculated from the item price, the locations of buyer and seller, and the balance of supply and demand, plus sales tax and, where they apply, import duties based on your shipping address. One reassurance is documented: once you have placed an Offer, the fees on it will not change.
The used and unique side of the platform works to a published tariff instead. On the Listings Marketplace buyers pay a flat 3% processing fee on the item price, with a minimum of $3.95, plus a shipping fee based on size, weight, and category that is generally lower than on the Verified Marketplace. If you want that item authenticated, you can send it to StockX for verification at checkout for a flat $12.50, and the estimated delivery date shifts to account for the extra step.
Read together, those two structures explain the complaint people bring here most often. A small fixed-dollar code on a low-priced listing can be swallowed by fees and delivery, while the same code on a higher-value order barely registers as a percentage. The number that matters is the one at the bottom of the checkout screen, and it is shown to you before you confirm.
What delivery really costs, and the free shipping question

The honest answer comes first: StockX does not document a free shipping code, and delivery is not free by default. Shipping is charged and it is never a fixed amount, because StockX sets it from five things: the item price, the item size, the item type, carrier rates at the moment of purchase, and where you want it sent. The useful counterweight is that you always see the full shipping cost before you complete a purchase or submit an Offer, so nothing arrives as a surprise at the end.
There is a real way to keep delivery from creeping up, and it is not a code. Items marked with the rocket icon travel through Xpress Ship, which means they are either already verified and held at a StockX facility or shipped straight from a Verified Seller. Xpress Ship orders offer three options: standard delivery at no additional shipping cost, 3-business-day delivery, and Next Day Shipping, with the last two carrying an extra fee on top of the standard StockX rate. Choosing standard on a rocket-icon listing is how you avoid paying a surcharge for speed you may not need.
Timing is the other half of the picture. For a normal Verified Marketplace order the seller has 2 business days to send the item to StockX for verification, and items sold on their release date allow 5 business days in total, so the pace depends on what you bought as much as on what you paid for delivery.
Every way to pay less on StockX, side by side
Codes get the attention, but on a resale marketplace they are one of five levers, and the cheapest route depends on how patient you are. The deals hub gathers items sitting below their retail figure and needs nothing applied at checkout. An Offer lets you name your price and wait: you set how long it stays alive, StockX warns you by email before it lapses, and you can pull or revise it until an Ask meets it. The price history and market data on the product page tell you whether today's number is high or low against recent sales, which is what makes an Offer an informed bet rather than a guess.
| Route | What it lowers | What it asks of you |
|---|---|---|
| Discount code | The item price at checkout | A live, unexpired code and an order that meets its conditions |
| Deals hub | The listed price, before any code | Flexibility on model and size; stock rotates constantly |
| Make Offer | What you pay for the item itself | Patience, and a bid window you choose when you place it |
| Standard delivery on a rocket-icon listing | The surcharge the faster options add | Accepting the standard timeframe instead of paying for speed |
| Listings Marketplace | Item price and, usually, the shipping fee | Comfort with used or unique items; optional paid verification |
If you want to pay over time rather than pay less, that exists too. In the United States StockX supports Affirm and Cash App Afterpay on orders from $50 to $30,000, along with PayPal Pay Later in its Pay in 4 and Pay Monthly forms. Spreading a payment does not reduce the total, and some code cards are tied to one of these providers, which is the only case where the two decisions overlap.
Returns, the Buyer Promise and No Fee Resale
Open the box and check the item against what you ordered before anything else. If it turns out to be materially different from its description, damaged, the wrong order, the wrong size, or in a condition other than the one stated, that is what the StockX Buyer Promise covers, and requests have to be submitted within 14 days of delivery. Approved returns come with a prepaid label, the money goes back to the payment method you used, and the item is expected to be unworn and in the condition it arrived in, with any StockX tag still attached.
Changing your mind is a different route. Eligible Verified Marketplace items carry a "14 Day Return" label on the product page and in your Buying History at the time of purchase; that gives you 14 days from delivery to start the return and 7 days from starting it to get the item to a StockX facility. Accepted returns are refunded in StockX Credit, which is issued in dollars and available to customers in the United States.
If the item is not covered by that label, the platform offers a second exit. No Fee Resale lets you list it again without selling fees within 90 days of delivery, which turns an unwanted purchase into a sale rather than a write-off. Guests get there too by creating an account and transferring the order through the confirmation email.
Selling on StockX, and how seller fees come down

Buying is only half the platform. Search for what you already own, set your price, pick a payout method and currency, then send the item in for verification once it sells. Checking recent sales on the product page before you set an Ask is what decides whether you sell quickly or hold out for more.
The saving on this side is structural rather than promotional, which is why no code applies to it. StockX runs five Seller Levels with a different base transaction fee for Verified Marketplace sales, running from 9.0% at the entry level down to 7.0% at the top. Your level is set by the number of sales or their total value across both marketplaces within a calendar quarter, with thresholds at 12 sales or $1,500, then 40 or $5,000, then 200 or $25,000, then 800 or $100,000. Progress resets each quarter, and a level you reach carries through that quarter and the next one.
Level also opens doors beyond the fee. Flex, the seller program behind Xpress Ship, is open to Level 2 and above in the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union, and items from a Verified Seller can be shipped straight to the buyer instead of routing through a verification facility first.
FAQ on StockX codes and savings
Do StockX codes stack on a single purchase?
Assume they do not, unless the terms say otherwise. Conditions are set per promotion and the help center does not present stacking as a general feature, so plan around a single code and let the card's own terms settle it.
Do StockX discount codes expire?
Yes, and StockX is explicit about it: each promotional code has an expiration date, which is provided along with the code. Note it when you pick the code up, because an expired string is the most common reason a checkout refuses one.
Does StockX run a student discount?
The help center does not document a student program, and the three code channels StockX names are email, influencer partnerships, and social media. If you are a student, the realistic route is the same as everyone else's: turn on email notifications, watch the deals hub, and use whatever card is live on this page.
Does StockX have a refer a friend code?
Not one that StockX documents. There is no referral article in the help center, and the official list of code channels does not include one. What the platform does run is an affiliate and ambassador setup for creators, which pays commission rather than handing out a discount to invite your friends, so treat referral strings found elsewhere with caution.
Can I use a StockX discount code with Guest Checkout?
Yes. StockX lists promotional discount codes as eligible for Guest Checkout, which covers new, unworn Verified Marketplace items. Guests are limited to Buy Now rather than Offers, cannot use gift cards, and shop on desktop or mobile web; you would need an account to take up No Fee Resale later.
Can I pay over time on StockX?
In the United States, yes. Affirm and Cash App Afterpay both cover orders between $50 and $30,000, and PayPal Pay Later offers Pay in 4 on purchases from $30 to $1,500 and Pay Monthly from $199 to $10,000. Klarna is listed for Europe, Australia, and the United Kingdom rather than for US buyers.
Can I cancel a StockX order after I place it?
It depends on where you bought it. Some Verified Marketplace orders can be canceled from your account once they fall outside the estimated delivery window. On the Listings and Live side you message the seller and it is their call, though an order that has not shipped within 30 days cancels automatically with a refund.
Can I return a StockX purchase if I simply changed my mind?
Only if the item carried the "14 Day Return" label when you bought it. That gives you 14 days from delivery to start the return, 7 days to ship it back, and a refund in StockX Credit. If it did not carry the label, No Fee Resale lets you resell it without selling fees within 90 days of delivery.
