Two kinds of offers account for almost everything on the list this month. One group is a percentage with nothing attached to it, meant to work across the site. When the code comes back rejected

• Gift cards. The COS payment options page explains that physical and e-gift cards work in any COS store and online in the country where the card was bought. Online, you choose Add gift card when paying, enter the number and the PIN, and can either cover the whole order or combine the card with another payment method. Two costs sit on top of those windows. The COS returns policy deducts a seven-dollar fee from the refund on a mail return, and states that the fee is charged per order rather than per prepaid label, with customer service able to waive one of them if several orders travel back under a single label.^[5] Returning to a COS store in the United States is free, and needs either the emailed order confirmation or the packing slip.^[6] There are also no exchanges online: COS asks you to return the piece and place a new order, or to swap it in a store, which is processed as two separate transactions.
